I'd rather live in the suburbs of the United States than anywhere else on earth. I'd rather live in my 100 year old, non-suburban residential area (also conveniently located in the United States) than in a suburb. Life is far more relaxed where I am. It's just a fact of life.

The problem with many suburbs is they don't have a town center that you can walk to, enjoy and feel that you are part of a community. They are built without a heart, as it were. You have to get in your car to get just about anything.
