Nope. She's part of the GLWC, mostly because it affects her "legacy" as well, to try to shift the fallout from the
Clinton Administration's screwups on to GWB.
"So Maddie, the US is now having second thoughts about letting Westinghouse sell a nuclear reactor to China, given China's
technology transfers to Iran and, ahem, North Korea. Is is a good policy to learn from the obvious mistakes of past administrations?"
" guess there is a big articile in todays NEWSWEEK magazine..havent bought it yet.."
You might want to see the thread on his appearance on C-Span this am and decide if you think the article will be helpful. leadpenny started it, if that helps you find it.
... I forced myself to watch having heard the 'back-story' about evil gun manufacturers was pretty bad..
^^^^^^
Leftist enemies are always the baddies. That is one of the reasons that the uninformed can kneejerk repeat that big business is bad. Business has been bad in every soap opera since TV started.
Did you hear Russert ask this soldier for a "reality check".
Russert is parrotting Kerry's very words.
Wallace questioning the President's use of the word guessing instead of estimating in intelligence report..and Powell rightly says they give the worst case scenarios so we are ready to plan for them....
Questioned the Rumsfeld statement that if the elections can't be held in 100% of country..could be held anyway in rest...Powell speaking about his talks about reform in the middle east..saying talked with many countries..Diplomacy never stops....Wallace showing Kerry flip flop on world being better off without Saddam..LOL..Sorry.. Biden spinning..Got to have more coffee.
"Russert is parrotting Kerry's very words."
I was shocked, Peach, shocked!
The guest list is really bad when even Fox has to resort to Biden. I have to mute the whiner. I will never willingly listen to his voice in this lifetime.
However, to have him as the counterbalance to Colin Powell illustrates the weakness of the Dem bench.
LOL.
It seems that every time Old Media opens their mouths they out themselves.
CNBC reruns Russert's round table interviews on Sunday nights - around 8 or 9 p.m. I'm not a regular viewer of his show but just happened on it as I was switching through the hurricane coverage and it caught my attention. It was definitely worth watching if you can. Hitchens did an outstanding job of articulating why we need to be in Iraq and how it is part of the war on terror. Sullivan actually believes that the WMD was or could still be there. It was refreshing because it wasn't the typical shouting down, low level give and take that you generally get from the left. As Lizarde pointed out, there was some degree a criticism of GWB going on but it wasn't done in a viscious way -- Some if it might have even been constructive and was done in a lighthearted manner.
I thought the DNC fax said to complain about turning Iraq in to a magnet for terrorists (thereby reducing the focus on the US)?
" It was refreshing because it wasn't the typical shouting down, low level give and take that you generally get from the left."
Isn't it amazing that we don't mind listening to the opposing point of view when it consists of something other than Bush lied, Bush lied, Bush lied.
I don't think he did either.
When listening to Biden, you might want/need to spike your coffee w/something stronger. I can't understand how this plagiarist gets so much TV face time.
LOL, "Senator Biden, I really think you should stick with the decaf".
Nice to see Chris smack around the petulant Biden.
thanks
Questioned the Rumsfeld statement that if the elections can't be held in 100% of country..
%%%%%
In 1864, none of the southern states voted, but Lincoln became the elected President for the entire Union. The next election happened in 1868, not 1865.
It's not just Plugs, it's the same guest week after week...
