Where was the barf alert?
Will Spittin' Chrissie be throwing a pie in Michelle Malkin's face on this show?
Yeh, no slap-down! Darn. Juan must feel like it's Christmas.
Thanks. As usual, FR covers everything.
I have the same ritual but my local paper did a cheap hit job on Bush in the Sunday edition (the only day I buy it). It bugs me that they won't admit their bias up front. I figure that if I stop reading it I will save $73 a year, plus the time and gas I spend going to buy it. I'll miss the good coffee I buy along with it but, with the time and money I save I can buy some expensive coffee, grind it myself, read Free Republic on Sunday morning, and still have $50 left over for the SwiftVets and related causes. I really have to face up to the fact that I can't complain about these left-wing newspapers if I continue to support them with my purchase just because no conservative newspaper is readily available in my area.
I always listen to Steve on the way to Mass. After I read this thread I decide what I will watch as a rerun.
What does that mean? Thanks.
Ah, the same Norah who said that the president of Iraq' speech could have been written by the White House.
Long after the words are forgot the images remain. That is why JFK beat Nixon in his debates and Bush won those three debates in 2000.
But I do wonder why reporters haven't picked up on something Kerry said in a speech last week, with Biden onstage, standing right behind Kerry. Kerry said Joe Biden had been speaking to world leaders about Iraq. Basically Kerry said the same thing about himself a month or so ago, and got negative attention for it. Reporters don't care that Senator Biden is going off on his own talking to world leaders?
Oh, I'm glad to know that, thanks. I can hardly stand to watch Biden talk and the minute I read your comment, I remembered I did surf around while he was on. Again, thanks because I did blame Wallace.
From my understanding Kerry was balking about one of the rules established for the debate, A red light would flash when the candidates time was up, another one would flash on screen for the viewing audience to see if they went over by one minute.
Kerry's campaign staff took away the complaint when the negotiator said that he had agreed to those conditions.
Yes I did also. These two guys kept me mesmerized the entire time. They are real true intelectuals. What is it about the British. Who is the other true Britain that ran Firing Line forever. He was my most favorite Brit.
Personally, I have no problem with liberals as long as they articulate their reasoning for "deciding" to be liberal, such as Christopher Hitchens. Of course, Andrew Sullivan has NEVER been a liberal. As long as I've been reading him he's been a fiscal, business conservative, free enterprise believer but with a bent to the left regarding gay issues. Thanks for sharing.
I guess the media/dem tactic is to completely dismiss Allawi's statements.
$$$$$
Allawi has gone straight down the memory hole.
Breathtaking arrogance from old media.
Means that he's been studying and memorizing the stats.
Cokie meant that it would be hard for anyone to keep up with Kerry. She justifiably thought she was funny. (Although, I would just assume he only voted when he had a chance to cut defense spending and to support abortion - that's about it, except for the lone vote in favor of granting the President the authorization to stand up to Hussein.)
I would love to ask Broder if he has read the Unfit book. Betcha he hasn't.
$$$$$
Email him. Call him on it.
He doesn't like GWB, which I saw first hand at a campaign event in 2000, but tries to pretend he is a straight reporter.
She's the one, but I did not remember corrrectly. The 4th this week was the french speaking comedian/WH correspondant; David Gregory of NBC. Norah must have been last week.
C-Span played the debate with Gore sighing last night, and it was hilarious.
I've been trying to find video, or even a still photo, of Bush giving Gore "the look," but I haven't been able to.
Just watching FNS replay on FNC now. Biden is a real shitbag. How he keeps getting re-elected is beyond me.
ABC radio news now stating that General Abasaid is contradicting Bush and Allawi and saying that some areas will not be secure enough for voting.
AAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH
