And Jesus Christ (Jesus of Nazareth) was a Jew - a descendant of David and fulfills all of the Old Testament prophecies of a Messiah.

Unfortunately, the Jewish leadership at the time viewed Him as a threat to their authority - and thus had him executed. His violent death perfectly fits the violent description in Isaiah of the Messiah's treatment.

If all goes according to the Book of Revelation (despite your beliefs), will you admit your fault, or will you be one of the hard-headed people who take the mark of the beast and doom yourself to eternal damnation in the Lake of Fire?

I've read the last chapter of the last Book -- God wins!

No Doubt! I just wonder how we fare.

Imagine a huge spreadsheet computer program. On that spreadsheet are two columns. One of the columns is the Merit side. The other side is the Demerit side. Now imagine that the Master of the Universe has all of our actions both good and bad logged.

I am very happy with where I am on his ledger, so I am not worried about any lake of fire.

The "New" Testament including the Book of Revelations contains no real prophecy. Like all of the false prophets that arose later in world history, e.g. Muhammed, Bahaulluah, Joseph Smith, Osho etc. the so-called prophecies of the new testament obscure the true prophecies of people like Jeremiah, Isaiah and Ezekial. True prophecy is little understood by most people.

To understand the difference between real prophecy and visualisation, inspiration, dreams or other cognitive functions people need to read Maimonides "Guide for the Perplexed." It is easy to tell just how few in number the people alive today who understand what true prophecy is by visiting Amazon.com and looking up the sales rank of GFTP.

False prophets create a dust stream of confusion that obscures the real jewels of the true prophets.

Reborn,

You wrote:

I also know many people who believe Bill Clinton is the Anti-Christ. However, the AC does not come from Hope, Arkansas. That would make him "Beelzebubba".

And yet again, you totally dodged the question posed to you -

Will you change your mind if the NEW TESTAMENT "predictions" come true. Particularly if the dispensational eschatology point of view were to be right after all - and you are one of the many "left behind" after the rapture. Imagine all of the (as you call them) "visions" of John unfolding before your very eyes. Will you still believe in a celestial "spreadsheet"?

"Do you think the Ark of the Covenant will be found/recovered and that will spark the rebuilding of the Third temple??"

A short direct answer with respect to the Ark of the Covenant is Yes.

I suspect that the Anti Christ or the False Prophet will have a role in the return of the Ark which will be the event that will trigger resumption of the sacrifices.

I think there is a historical record that the Ark was removed during the reign of Manasseh and ultimately found its way to Ethopia. Although Graham Hancock's book, "Sign and the Seal" is not viewed as a Biblical Scholar's work, I believe his fundamental premise is correct and he has done a through research job--I think the Ark is in Ethopia, in Aksum.

The 18th Chapter of the book of Issiah sets out a prophecy of the bringing of a gift to Mount Zion from Ethopia. The gift is an "ensign"--the Ark was an ensign in the sense that it was carred before the people on their journey through the wildnerness.

I doubt that a Temple will be reconstructed before the Lord's return. The sacrifices were conducted in a tent prior to construction of the first Temple; I expect the practice to be resumed in a temporary structure.

I choose to follow the teachings of Jesus, the Christ and my Redeemer, who explicitly told His diciples of then and all ages to watch for the hour of His return.

Leaves turn and you know winter is on it's way.

I would encourage you to review Ezekiel Ch's 8 thru 12 and in your mind's eye, think of islamites on Mount Moriah especially in light of these current world events.

"Yes, you are correct. Hashem gives us the gift of free will. For every problem there is a solution. The Gordian Knot may seem impossible to untangle, but if you know the story the knot does get cut eventually. People would be well advised to read the prophecies of Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekial as at this time. Cool heads are needed at this time. The next few weeks and months are crucial..."

Have read Isaiah, Jeremiah and Exekiel, Daniel, Joel, Amos, Hosea, etc.. and things are right on schedule.

I'm sure you can afford a small investment of $15 or so in your education. By the way the word education comes from "educere" which means "to bring forth from within."

200,000 people trampling about atop ancient structure(s) seems insane, but what else is new when Muslims are worshiping? I hope things remain as calm as possible.

I think the most important part of the post has been missed by most of the recent posters.

In hindsight, I wish I had waited.

It would have been a hoot to watch as all of the “We're All Doomed” crowd descended and claimed this thread as yet another sign that the world will end tomorrow.
