just make sure you download the new driver and software from ATI before you install the video card, don't use the old driver's from the cd, you will have to use the cd for some stuff but... try to get as much new software from ati.com as you can

And, of course, there was a disruptor. He was shouting a question to the President, we tried drowning him out, then things started to get ugly until the police could get to the man and remove him. The younger man whose head can be seen behind the balding man was a Secret Service agent, who would not touch the disruptor, but waited until the uniformed Leos got there.

I hope this works. Here are a few pictures my father-in-law took in Racine today. He's awesome!

These are terrific pictures as well. Isn't digital photography sweet? FReepers convinced me to buy one after the pics I took aat the last rally didn't turn out. The new camera is very nice. Kodak DX7590.

If you need me to post the next batch.. I will, I'll just need to pull down the one I have uploaded to my webspace before I do. MY ISP has me down for 25 Meg of space and I'm near the limit now. Mainly because of a 9/11 tribute site I put together. Check it out if you want, below is the link

I am SO glad you clarified that--I was afraid maybe our President was getting "tacky" clothes. Tee hee!

He is really down to earth, and that is so very refreshing.

Where were you standing? I had a good vantage point, but as the afternoon wore on, the sun became a problem. I have great pictures of the crowd and some of the early acts, and a few good ones of the president.

I was right on the walkway as he came in and poised to take a picture. Naturally as he approached, all these hands went out, SS jumped in, I was shoved from behind, I snapped a wild picture and got only the corner of his shirt and a lot of hands. LOL

But I got others of him at the podium.

Excellent photos. Mine are from a completely different vantage point. I was on the ground on the walk line -- but I got some good shots of the President while he was speaking. Again, I have no way of posting them.

I have only a 10x zoom, but I almost have the face of one of the snipers on the far building. Unbelievable. Those men were nothing but specks to the naked eye. If the sun hadn't been a problem, I could have gotten the faces of the men posted on the closer buildings.

My shots of the whole crowd are not as impressive as the ones you posted because I didn't have the advantage of being elevated. But I got some good vingettes of people in the crowd.

Because of your position, you have solved the mystery of the podium. The President's notes. Did you notice those notes? Are they electronic? In other words do they move with his speech. He seldom looks down and I never see him turn a page. Is this a high tech speech aid?

Inquiring minds...

He has a binder with what looks like laminated pages. Yes, he did turn pages during the speech.

I have a a pretty good picture of the binder if you want it. Still working out the whole image size / compression / where to host it thing. :) So it will be a while before I can post my own images.

Thanks. I'd love to see the up close of the binder. I've been wondering about that for months because he seldom consults it. He seems to have everything committed to memory, except the thank yous to the local officials. He always checks on that and never makes mistakes such as 'Lambert' Field! LOL. Still can't pronounce Mary Buestrin's name, however -- but who can? And who cares?

I think that he has become a magnificent speaker in the 4 years I have been watching him. I used to just hold my breath, praying that he would not make a blunder that the other side could hurt him with. He is flawless now. I think he's going to cream Kerry in the debates. Of course, it is always difficult when the other side lies.

What is your new camera? It did you proud yesterday.

BTW, when you figure out how to host the images -- best provider, cheapest, etc. Please let me know. I have to do the same thing. :)
