I think this is cover for the DNC/Kerry camp. I still believe they had the documents and got Burkett to pass them to CBS. Now they're having Burkett do this to innoculate them from any charges that they had them before CBS did.

The one and only thing we should be focused on right now is who did the forgeries.

We all know the media is biased. We've made that point. Pajama media beats big media.

That is my conclusion also. The DNC seeded this story (false documents and all) to the Kerry Campaign, who passed it to the Anti-Bush MSM World Headquarters at CBS/Rathergate Inc. Desperation (polling heading south faster than you can shake a stick) drove the Kerry Campaign and Rather to throw caution to the wind and run the story. They believed they would get away with this subterfuge based on years of past experience.

But they underestimated the blogosphere and the rest of the new media, and are justly reaping their whirlwind. I hope this story is fully investigated, as I have no doubt that it rises all the way to the top (and that does not stop with the hapless Kerry).
