Not if you make four Novenas first. And if you need help, I have the lumber if you have the plans.
Yes, but, but, but, if they call Burkett a liar about the conversation with Lockhart - then, do you mean, GASP! (HAND POUNDING ON TABLE, LOUD, AND I MEAN LOUD, LAUGHTER!)
Oh, that will be so sweet. I think he probably does, 'cause he must know that he's facing an even bigger storm by going public with this allegation. At the very least, his phone records would be helpful if they establish that his conversation with Lockhart was a lot longer than "3-4 minutes" -- let's hope he's now decided to turn on everyone who he feels has betrayed him.
You never know what your going to get!
Great find!
Scandals like this one take on a life of their own.
Eventually, the Democrats will have nowhere to run, nowhere to hide.
But this was months before. He had trouble getting through. Somewhat later Mapes comes along and Burkett gets her to phone the Kerry team as his end of the quid pro quo. Mapes wants us to believe that she never mentioned the memos in that call. Lockhart wants us to believe that in his three to four minute call he didn't mention the memos. My point is that Mapes had to have mentioned the memos to Lockhart for him to give Burkett the time of day. When Mapes tells Lockhart that Burkett is "helpful, very helpful", she had to have mentioned the memos. There's the connection. Also --- Why Kinkos instead of just handing them from Burkett to Mapes?
Yes, I believe Shakespeare wrote a play about it.
The original title was "Julius Grab the Girl", but he changed it.
One thing we do know is that Burkett can tell a lot more than he's told so far.... as of August 13 he was publishing a review article on Democrats.com in which he asserted that he knew of no documentation from Killian to be used against Bush, yet this week he has claimed he received the forgeries way back on March 3. Whether Burkett is the forger or simply the intermediary, this article suggests that a lot happened after August 13 that Burkett is lying about:
"I [Burkett] have found no documentation from LTC Killian's hand or staff that indicate that this unit was involved in any complicit way to either cover for the failures of 1LT Bush, or to provide him pay or certification for training not completed. On the contrary, LTC Killians' remarks are rare..."

That's all they have left, before saying it was space aliens who were responsible.
I suspect Burkett has phone and fax logs. It will be interesting to see what newspapers got the docs without revealing the fact.
Burkett is the gift that keeps on giving. By the time he's through he will have implicated "Buckhead" in this scheme. I don't feel safe discussing this anymore or I will be reading my name in the paper.
"Who is "Lucy Ramirez"?"
She is really named Lucy Ricardo, the one who was married to the Cuban.
I'll take one of those chocolates please :) Now all we need is Lockhart to come out and say "I wouldn't have pleaded for the documents if Kerry hadn't demanded we slander George W. with whatever we could find..."
Literally.
