There was a blurb on the tube about something like this. A fellow had taken his pooch to work, just to check in or something.

The mutt beelined and disappeared. They found him in one of the other fellows cube.

The guy in the cube was having a mild heart attack. Later research has proved dogs are very sensitive to the odors caused by the enzymes released during a heart attack, and in some cases, can predict those at risk.

I have heard of cancer-sniffing dogs, but I'd forgotten about it. I thought that story was from germany.

What does it say about me, the next time my neighbours dog wraps himself furiously around my leg and tries to hump it?

That you are more attractive (or available) than a piano? (Another favorite target of some dogs.)

Wow, I'm sexier (but less expensive) than a Steinway! Who knew? *LOL*

Our cats sleep facing UP toward the ceiling when it is going to rain. When they sleep facing totally down on their tummies, face down, it will be sunny. We had a cat when we lived in San Marino, Calif 1988-1990 named Ginger. When there was going to be an earthquake she would insist on going outside. Then she wouldn't come back in until all the after shocks were over. (we had three while we lived out there) I wonder if scientists could study cats and dogs for all kinds of things. They have a different kind of intelligence than we have.

Dogs can also aid seizure victims... especially children...
