I read it, but didn't hear it. Are you sure? I could easily see it the other way. The reporter was using Kerry's language from an earlier Kerry comment about Bush being in a fantasy land about conditions in Iraq. The reporter is asking Kerry that since Illawi says the same as Bush are you saying that he is also in fantasyland.
Not sure about the response by Kerry.

REAL AMERICANS should be standing up in droves for our President++++++++++++++
They are, Ma'am, the MSM simply does not report it.
"If we don't report it, then it did not happen." Anal stage of development.

"Hint: the reporter was bashing Kerry, not Bush.
Please explain, perhaps I'm slow."
I think he was tweeking Kerry a little. Kerry, while in Florida said he was traveling by Fantasyland (an obvious reference to Walt Disney World). Kerry said the difference between him and Bush was that he drove by, and Bush lives there.

the difference between him and Bush was that he drove by, and Bush lives thereI remember the press never let Bush 41 or was it Dole, get away with calling Klintoon a "clown". I can't believe I didn't hear this snide, childish remark reported yesterday. Which also explains my confusion.

QUESTION: Prime Minister Allawi told Congress today that democracy was taking hold in Iraq and that the terrorists there were on the defensive. Is he living in the same fantasy land as the president? Just as the media convinced us that we were losing in Vietnam after Tet68 (where we actually kicked major butt). They have also beat this horse so hard for the last year that even conservatives acknowledge that somehow Iraq "is a mess".
Come on people, get real. Iraq is a huge place, and there are a few hundred, maybe a few thousand people at most that know that all they have to do is get on the front pages of the NYTimes every day and they will "win".
If we can get them off the front pages, then it's over, we've won.
Terrorists can't militarily win anything. They're playing to the media, and we must do the same.

The reporter was a female, and Kerry knew who shes was. It sounded like he said the name "Patsy".
