=== I'm astonished that you think Putin ordered those children killed. Are you off your rocker?
I'm astonished you can feign such indignation on behalf of a "former" GRU/KGB in a reply to someone who quite aptly brings up our handling of Waco.
No Christian who understands Father Abraham's haggling with God himself over "collateral damage" in Sodom excuses same as blythely as do you.
The only reason I could possibly be "right" is because I've read all of Golitsyn's books and studied what Story's had to say for five years.
He's very reliable.
And I don't think either of us relish being "right" in the least where concerns events like these.
Tho$e rea$on$, if they are the only rea$on, can be compen$ated for!
It is dangerous to disseminate marxist garbage on a forum as valuable as this one!
Berezovsky runs Novaya Gazeta. And here is your friend Anna the staunch conservative praising Michael Moore's film and slamming both Bush and Putin.
"Berezovsky, who was born in 1946, has also been described in another issue of Forbes as the head of the Russian mafia."
"Berezovsky took exception to this and has been attempting to sue Forbes for slander. Others have also raised questions about how Brerzovsky went about accumulating such wealth. He founded Logovaz, a holding company that began by "prevailing" upon Avtovaz, the country's largest automobile manufacturer, to sell the popular Lada at a sharp discount. Logovaz then resold these cars at a much higher price."
And if you click on the bottom link it describes Berezovsky's financial dealings as a mafia leader.
So you are here supporting chechens, a large number of whom are terrorists or support terrorism, liberals like Anna who praises Michael Moore, and mafia leaders like Berezovsky. All so you can assure yourself that you are not a commie.
What this has to do with a conservative forum is beyond me. I don't even think you know enough to know what you are touting here.
These are the same liars and losers that we disdain in American politics. It is surely ignorance which leads Americans to jump on board with them in Russia.
Paranoid nutburger placemarker.
This idiot, like so many others, insists on constructing an illusory coherent historical account, when none such is possible in advance of radically unpredictable events.
ALL reductionist schemes fall to earth in the face of reality. I think that the impulse to believe in them springs from the same root as belief in astrology and other pretend metaphysics - a desire to live in a child-like reality with both present and future guaranteed by ... something. Anything. Pity them.
These posters apparently wish to know your going rate for banning people they don't like, and as a side question, apparently they want to know how much cash it takes to buy immunity from you in FR.
Maybe you can respond to them.

Gog-Magog aligns with the enemy of Israel, Ezekiel is coming to pass.
End times.
Beauseant!
bttt
Right now there are specialists in Russia and vice versa, having close counsel on countering terrorism.
Check out the islamic sites for their fury over this.
=== Gog-Magog aligns with the enemy of Israel
When dabbling in endtimes prophecy about Israel, I trust you remember to distinguish between Israel (as children of Abraham yet practicing their faith) and the State of Israel.
Two totally different things.
Confusing the two only serves -- as planned -- the purposes of those who would triangulate the People of the Book.
Chechen terrorists are behing Chechen terrorism.
End of story.
Had the terrorists not taken the theater, no one would have died.
No one is arguing that point, however, I find it curious that the exact same argument: "had Russia not conquered and subjugated the Caucasus, none of this would be happening", is not equally accepted.
There are terrorists in the Middle Esat, they must be killed...but that's not all that has to be done, the cause of terrorism in that region, radical Islam, must be destroyed as well.
There are terrorists in Chechnya, they must be killed...but that's not all that has to be done, the cause of terrorism in that region, Russian oppresion, must be eliminated as well.
Killing the terrorists is like treating the symptoms and ignoring the disease; in Chechnya's case, the disease is not so much Islam, as it is the ongoing Russian occupation, and the brutality of it.
Russia is trying to draw similarities between their war with Chechnya and our war on terror, and that's cow chips.
We were attacked, yet we occupy no Islamic nation, and at the end of the war, we won't remain anywhere as occupiers, we never have.
Russia however, has been occupying the Caucasus for hundreds of years, and they show no signs of ever withdrawing; this is a very old war going on there.
Completely different circumstances.
You are persistant. No matter what you present, it is against the thought process to deviate from talking points.
bump
I find all this very interesting.
The Russians just can't get this revolution thing right.
The first revolution was captured by the Bolshavics and that was captured by Stalin. When Gorbachev saw the light and actually began change, the ologarchs took over and stripped all the national assets, depositing the proceeds in Switzerland (and in Gore/Clinton accounts ala marc rich). To counter the oligarchs, a mafia, a criminal confederaton gained the upper hand.
Into all this Putin thrust himself. He has no one to counton except the old line agency. He is in a really tough spot.
Even if he knows what the result should look like he can't get there because there are too many serious obstacles in the way.
There must be death and lots of it before the democratic revolution can progress.
Very good analysis. Putin is not, however, a communist, as a look at his economic policies and support of Christianity (including a return to prayer in public schools and work toward eliminating abortion) easily reveals.
Elders of Zion was outlawed and so was Wahabi sect material.
They are hardline and controlling, but they are making excellent choices, imo.
