I just have to much of the judicial temperament in my I guess. I resist going too far, and gilding the lily. It makes me wince. But then you already knew that. :)

Kerry gave a pretty effective speech on Iraq by the way. Bush needs to think through how to handle it, and give a more serious response, in a more serious venue, than flip flop again on the campaign stump. He needs to point out he is already implementing the Kerry points, and that sometimes one needs to tough out reverses, given the stakes. There is no going back. And the prize is huge. It is worth some sweat and toil.
