I am removing CBS from every tv in my home this afternoon and will be notifying my local affiliate of my actions today. H__l will freeze over before I view anything resembling a "news" broadcast on the CBS network again.
I predict your obsessive efforts to support your anti-Bush bias will ultimately prove to be your undoing.
I may actually watch tonight just so I can see Burkett confess. :) He is such a bastard..

Dan Rather and CBS need to go further in their apologizing to the people! They tried to use their outlet to support Kerry and smear our President! The need to apologize to our President, call him, put this on the news ...and show we past viewers they are sincere! Without that I too and all on my email list agree NO MORE CBS and no more Rather...they have a long way to go to deserve the viewership they lost!
I wrote an e-mail last week to all the CBS affiliates, have only received three responses, all saying basically that they will pass my message on to CBS.
One can learn a lot about a man by his enemies.
We are stupid.
We elected Clinton. Twice.
They reasoned that it worked for them before, because the 'Dope from Hope' was elected, then re-elected, so why shouldn't it work again?
We can't allow the MSM/OM manipulate us further. on 03 NOV there will be a meeting, probably in New York, around the planning for Hilary '08. We must be absolutely prepared for the onslought. The MSM/OM will parade her around like she is the F'n Queen awaiting the coronation.
The NM must rise to the challenge. We must follow her every move. We must at all times know where she is and what she is doing. She thought there was right wing conspiracy before, she hasn't seen Nothin Yet.

CBS has already been blocked from my Direct TV line up. I did this when they ran that Reagan made for TV movie/hit piece

I can't help but wonder what would Edward R Murrow think of his CBS today.

Dear CBS,
I read your note today (9-20) about how CBS was misled
on the Bush Documents. I did not, however, read any
apology from 60 Minutes to the President, whom you
lied about, Staudt, who you lied about, or the family
of Killian, who you lied about. You are, of course,
sorry the whole thing happened, but your apology to
the viewers is nothing... apologize to those you lied
about!
Burkett's story's been around for years and his name
should have raised all the red flags needed to stop
your story, which was a disgrace to CBS and to the
nation during an election year.
It is very clear that CBS wants to "get" President
Bush and has no such desire to "get" John Kerry. Why
has CBS not checked into John Kerry's discharge from
the service? I am only now reading that Kerry fought
for years to obtain an honorable discharge and that he
likely did not fulfill his terms of discharge. CBS
should be spending half their time on Kerry's record
and half on Bush's record -- but it appears to this
ex-viewer that CBS is spending 100% of their
investigative power on "getting" Rresident Bush.
Vendetta, Dan?

Channels designated as "hidden" on my satellite receiver do not show up on the menu. Many cable boxes have a similar function, I believe.
CBS is now a "hidden" channel.
CBS has crossed the line with me and many of my friends. Their arrogant anti-Bush hate/bias continues to blind them to the reality of how much damage they have done to their credibility.
