This incident took place in Gainesville, Florida, which is home of the University of Florida and Santa Fe Community College, which have a combined student population of more than 60,000. Needless to say, Gainesville is by far the most liberal town in North or Central Florida.
According to a report on our local talk radio, Mr. Horn made McCally pay a price. The last paragraph of this article is wonderful. I'm glad that we have people like Mr. Horn in leadership positions.

We may have inadvertantly found a way to bring the enemy into shooting range.
Simply place a cardboard decoy of GWB in a suspected Dimocrat breeding area and wait for the idiot to sucker punch it. ;)

When Horn went outside, he said McCally came up to him. "He proceeded to say how he had a Ph.D., and he was smarter than me. I'm a stupid Republican,"<
Mr Doctorate Boy (or should I say, "Dr.") has a "position" teaching at a community college. He must be highly respected among his peers.
You would think Behavioral Science would teach a person how to motivate others with techniques other than punching them in the face.

"He proceeded to say how he had a Ph.D., and he was smarter than me. I'm a stupid Republican," and other comments laced with obscenities, he said. ...and then the enlightened genius threw a punch.
Normally, people only follow oppression and humiliation with violence. But these champions of tolerance, fairness, inclusiveness, and peace-at-any-cost always resort first to arrogance -then violence.
Attacking little girls's signs, tearing up lawn signs, kicking NYC cops. Wow, the LSM will have a LOT of spin work cut out for them the the month (and then 4 years) to come.

"He proceeded to say how he had a Ph.D., and he was smarter than me. I'm a stupid Republican," Forrest Gump's mother had the answer to that.
A "part-time instructor in social and behavioral sciences" - is there any more proof needed that colleges exist to provide employment for people who can't make a living with their hands or their minds? What would this jamoke be doing without sheltered employment? The biggest question he would have to tackle every day would be "You want fries with that?"

McCally is a part-time instructor in social and behavioral sciences at Santa Fe Community College I guess the very name of "Santa Fe" draws moonbats, even in Florida...

State legislatures that fund public colleges, including junior colleges, need to take a serious look at requiring affirmative action, a favorite concept of liberals, be applied to academic hiring. State colleges that do not diversify their staffs to include a proportionate number of moderate, conservative, or libertarian professors to that of the population at large will suffer a loss of state funding.
In the more conservative parts of the country, liberals tend to cluster in the teaching profession and college towns. It is past time that state legislatures look seriously at breaking these strongholds. Think of it as payback for school busing, which converted many central cities into black or Hispanic minority communities. Many of these central cities are now Democratic strongholds, even cities like Dallas, which was staunchly conservative 35 years ago.

Err, "social behavior"--not! I know the phrase is overused, but you really couldn't make this stuff up. Mrs PD

McCally is a part-time instructor in social and behavioral sciences at Santa Fe Community College who started in January, confirmed college spokesman Larry Keen. He will be "removed" from the classroom pending an administrative review on Monday, he said.
Seeing there's an opening for a social behavioral sciences instructor, maybe the college can hire an ex-felon.

The DemocRATS are losing it.
I'm seriously starting to fear what will happen when they lose again in November.

I think I start investing in pharmaceutical stocks right about now, given the way Democratic supporters acted in the last nine months. You KNOW that Democrats will buy mass quantities of anti-anxiety and anti-depressant pills after watching Senator Kerry go down in flames on November 2, 2004. :-/

I'm predicting this guy sticks with text book theory in the future - assuming he still has a job.

Just another all too common example of what the dim libs are are all about: Hypocrisy
Like spoiled little children if they don't get their way then they will throw a temper tantrum. And since sKerry is the epitome of that type then can you imagine how he would crack under the pressure that President Bush operates?? God protect us and keep GWB in office.

Perfect, I must say. Their talk, theories, and degrees mask a lack of character, a disdain for fair play, and an ugly, violent spirit. Reminds me of the peace protestors in NYC and the profane Kerryites who ubiquitously disrupt Internet bulletin boards.

As for Horn's commitment to his political opinions, he said, "If I have to take a beating every day for George W. Bush to be president, I'll do that. My passion for my beliefs continues unabated." That's what it takes.
