I was just wondering what everyone's favorite talk radio show is. My favorite is Glenn Beck. Your thoughts?

No offense, but Glenn Beck is not a very profound thinker. Plus he's a Mormon. Hard for me to take seriously a guy who thinks there are many Gods.
I like Rush, Hannity, Laura Ingraham depending on how they are on any given day.

2. Laura Ingrahm... is next... very, very, funny
3. Dennis Prager.. best debater and moralist. Very logical thinker. The new C.S. Lewis.

You know, I like all of these people - at least those I know. But if Don Wade of WLS-AM in Chicago would become syndicated and stick to his political schtick, he'd be right there with the best of 'em. He just doesn't want to break up his routine with his partner/wife Roma.

Rush comes in second. I stopped listening to him for a while, but started up again a few months ago when I was really nervous about the election. He is unfailingly upbeat and optimistic.

Hewitt is too much of a partisan cheerleader. He is more like a mouthpiece for the RNC. He is more a man of politics than ideas. But alone of the talk show hosts, I have met him, and up close and personal. He is a decent and affable chap, with a good sense of humor, and without airs.

I just heard Jaz McKay here in Fresno, wow!
But my favorite is Rush Limbaugh, second is Hugh Hewitt, the Sean Hannity.
My dad lives over in La Canada, and he listens to Bill Bennett on Salem Radio EARLY in the morning and just raves about him. Oh, I wish I could hear that, Bennett is awesome.

testify!
Hewitt has a lot of regular guests too, it's less of a monologue than some others.. Steyn, Fred Barnes, Claudia Rosett, Lileks are regulars, among others.
And sometimes he will have special episodes such as a entire show interviewing the likes of Victor Davis Hanson.

Mark Levin, love that guy! He needs a national show. My 2nd favorite is Steve Malzberg. I also like Hugh Hewitt and Laura Ingraham a lot. And Dennis Prager and Larry Elder.

Savage. He is entertaining, interesting, and occasionally right and wise about things that no other conservative commentator is. He really is an original thinker, and cares about the things that really matter. His priorities are straight, and he knows the left from the inside out, having been right in the belly of the beast for much of his life. Sometimes he is a bit much to take but then again sometimes he makes me laugh so hard it hurts.
