Who is your favorite conservative radio talk show host?
Posted on 09/17/2004 8:18:26 PM PDT by RedOhio
I was just wondering what everyone's favorite talk radio show is. My favorite is Glenn Beck. Your thoughts?

too bad he is not national--Mark levin is the best---It's easy to say Rush or Sean but of the 2nd tier--it's the great one

The Great One, Mark Levin.Yup. The Great One is my favorite. Very original an logical thought process. Doesn't give a damn about his peers or selling books. A definite straight shooter. Gotta love the guy.

Rush for his political mind, Savage for his historical knowledge and unapologetic venom towards liberals

Snow is who I find myself trying to catch most often. I listen to him on XM satellite radio, which also carries Hannity and Larry Elder on ABC Talk, and there's a whole "American Right" channel that carries Laura, Medved, Michael Reagan, Savage, Glen Beck and others. They also used to have Prager, who I really enjoyed but I haven't caught it in a long time. I've only heard Levin on Hannity's show and would love to hear more. I can't get Rush in my area so I keep up with him online.

Barry Young, KFYI, PHX.
How is ol' Barry? He's one of the things I miss about Back Home. I'm fond of his wife's (Kim Kommando) show as well.

I don't find Hannity either very entertaining or informed. He is more of a talking points kind of guy - for the RNC.

Hands down, unequivacably Glenn Beck is the best talk radio show on the air. Entertaining, sarcastic, dry wit... the perfect balance.
In terms of Mental stimulation, Medved is probably tops. He has open and honest and thoughtful dialogues consistently without being belittling or trite.
Worst, hands down is Bortz, I am so happy he will be GONE from our local talk FM station come November. He's been the unquestionable week member of the team since they kicked off the station.

Hugh Hewitt is the essential listen of the day. He has the legal mind for dissecting things and great regular guests like Frank Gafney, Mark Steyn, John Eastman (paired with Erwin Chemerinsky) etc. He often hits issues others miss.
And He's HUGH!
As well as series :-)

Well stated. I knew it was all over when Rush "I Don't Need Guests" Limbaugh brought Karen Hughes on to flack her book. It makes me sound like the beatniks who whined when Dylan went electric, but it just made me want to cry.

Rush "The Original" and the best.

Rush. Hannity is kind of a broken record sometimes.
To: wingnuts'nbolts
Rush Limbaugh is #1. But wasn't thread about who was one's favorite?
