Dean's former campaign Manager just mentioned a "theory" he heard that the documents were actually made in 1972, but were later scanned, changing the font.
Can you believe how desperate the liberals are? Did it also change the terminology from Air Force to Army? Did it also change the signature? Did it also change the retirement date for General Staudt?
They will never concede the documents are forgeries. This will live on in liberal mythology forever. Like the October Surprise.
Yep. I've got my theory on this, and I'm stickin' to it.
We may never get the "smoking gun(stupid analogy anyway)"
since I doubt any "originals" exist.
But the credibility and influence of the leftwing media crime cartel will be crippled for some time to come.
To which Chrissy responded "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!! Bull Shinecky!" NOT
This doesn't rise to the level of a theory. This is pathetic.
Sure. But the funny part is, even if that were true, the memo would still be a forgery which was attempted to be passed off as real. After all, a printout of an OCR-scanned memo would not have Killian's signature on the bottom of it! So whose signature is that? The one who attempted the fraud, by definition.
Thus the "scanned" theory, if true, means that fraud took place. The funny part is that the guy bringing it up doesn't seem to realize it. :-)
But that would make the signature at the bottom highly suspicious, like I said ;-)
Could happen. I know I scanned my butt the other day and dang if it didn't come out looking like Teddy Kennedy's face.
Not a shred of evidence to this theory, aside from its pathos. Perhaps Occam's Pathetic Razor is in order.
Here's what really happened to the originals :
So let's say we had to scan in order to change and add stuff. And if a novice did the work then he'd be hit-n-miss on the supersctipt and such becuase he's using a COMPUTER, of all things.
So there are still ALTERED documents.
I've seen FreepNazi mentioned several times on MSNBC (the reich) and CNN (Central Nazi Network.) CNN even had the guy who owns freenazi on TV. But DU never gets plugged, not even, the Loser for Life, Joe Trippi didn't plug DU(I call him this name because he didn't plug DU). That's too bad, and its even more too bad that none of you realize that every media outlet, including CBS is completely against Liberal views. Make no mistake about it, liberals are a marked animal, and the extermination squads are out 24/7 on the hunt.
Good Luck...and God Speed.
Sigh. Some people just feel compelled to turn any random thread into a crevo thread...
Let them keep going. It's going to make anyone with more than 2 brain cells extremely uncomfortable to admit to being a democrat. Talk about embarrassing!
Mine makes pencil marks and coffee stains into an alien language.
...right?
One does not kill anyone when they're in the process of comitting suicide.
In 1977 OCR technoloyg could BARELY do proportional font scanning. I know, I was writing hand-crafted PDP-8 assembler to do it. OCR would not convert a document to proportional fonts.
All this is just hilariously desperate. They are such public school victims they don't even know the history of technology in their own lifespans.
But they should be warned in advance to protect their keyboards with a handy barfbag nearby.
Please let America know what the uncensored left really thinks.
Exactly. You would OCR Scan a document that was particularly long (i.e., a catalog of information) because you needed to edit/update the information. Mostly useful in updating old index info without having to type for days from analog "hard" copy into your "new" computer software. Took more time to fix the OCR mistakes than to just retype the damn stuff.
You would never use OCR to simply make a copy.
PLUS: crumple marks on the PDF wouldn't show up on an OCR scan. Game.Set.Match.
OK, I reuse an argument from time to time!
