ABC News has an exclusive interview with Col. Stoudt, the retired colonel who allegedly pressured Killian to cover for Lt. Bush during his Air National Guard stint according to forged documents aired by CBS News.
Stoudt says the docs are fake, he never pressured Killian about Bush and he did nothing to help Bush get into the Air National Guard in fact he was happy to have as many pilots as he could.

You know, it took a heck of a long time--years, in fact--but their hijinx finally caught up with them and I, for one, couldn't be happier. I am going to relish the talk shows tonight, and I want everyone to pile on.

"Staudt". An appropriate name for someone from New Braunfels; A German town.

Can you imagine being in Peter Jennings shoes. You know he really doesn't want to do this to Dan, and he sure doesn't want to help President Bush.

The area's graveyards are also interesting for the hadstones and, especially, for the varieties of antique roses that the first settlers brought from Germany and planted by their loved ones. Down there about 10 years ago and got some wonderful cuttings. God bless Texas, it's Germans and its roses!

"Affilates depend heavily on local advertisers. A real difference can be made by boycotting the locals."Absolutely, Dolphy! Pressuring local sponsors can take the bread and butter right off the affiliate's table.
I suspect there are many who don't stop to realize the meaning of "network." The affiliates, collectively, are the network. As the affiliates go, so goes the network. If they back out, CBS no longer has an audience.

CBS did not interview Staudt, the Killians OR Ms. Knox.Well, who did they interview to corroborate the memos, Michael Moore?
To: Tall_Texan
He had declined other interviews and I'm sure he finally decided he had to get his statement on the record. On the record again. See my post #174.
The media--all of them, not just CBS, completely ignore the state of the record and did not see fit to hark back to his on the record comments from 1999.

Good job, Mr. Reporter. Make sure to include "He's a Kerry supporter" when you refer to Ben Barnes and Bill Burkett, OK? Good point, cyncooper. And I submit that CBS Neww should be required to have a John Fraud Kerry clip at the end of every Dirty Dan Rathher segment, like this:
"Dan Rather is a partisan Kerry supporter, and I John Kerry, approved of the previous ummm ..... "news" broadcast."

Exactly. Rather was prompting her and using those oh, so soothing tones with her. CBS and Rather's antiwar agenda has been apparent for years, but we have not been able to fight back against the strangle hold the MSM have had on news and information before talk radio, Free Republic, FOX, and Al Gore's invention:the Internet.
The MSM agenda driven news reports are now facing the Founders concept of the voice of the people.
CBS - Can't BS anymore!

CBS did not interview Staudt, the Killians OR Ms. Knox.
cBS did interview the Killians son and mother. They didn't say what cBS wanted so they burried them as witnesses.
Killian the younger said he gave cBS a whole list of people to talk to.

I'm beginning to wonder...A supposedly "October surprise in September" against Bush has turned into a story about the credibility of CBS, and is keeping anything Kerry is trying to do below the radar screen. This couldn't have turned out better had Rove actually orchestrated it!

My 1960's Olympia typewriter doesn't have an updated spellchecker.
Use the automatic update feature. The switch for it is right next to the volume control / mute.
