I think there are two Burkett's in the news now. One who wrote the book and this guy in Texas, the ex-NG member.

He co-wrote Stolen Valor with Glenna Whitley. I find it interesting that the subtitle to my ex-copy of the book (it's soon going to decorate the inside of File 13 along with some cat litter) is "How the Vietnam Generation Was Robbed of Its Heroes and Its History."
Mr. Burkett, YOU are attempting to rob my President of his honor and reputation and standing with the American people with this little escapade. You are also trying to place a permanent stain on the history of this basically good man, thereby ROBBING him of HIS history.
Oh that's right, there's one standard for Democrats and one for us peasants who need warm milk, pacifiers and slave chains from the DNC Lie-a-Minute machine. Gee, thanks for reminding me of that.
