I'm perhaps more of a realist than you - I feel responsible for the welfare of my family members, and I don't take them where I can't guarantee it. It's a guy thing, Lisa.

Nah, I'd put my maternal instincts against your "guy thing" anytime.....)

My kids are grown now, however, when they were young, I would NEVER put them in any type of situation where they would be in danger.

I don't think the dad in the picture intended to either. It's my feeling that he thought he could take his kids to a hometown rally, voice a different viewpoint, and they would all be safe. Maybe he isn't as informed as we are. We know the drill of some of the Kerry thugs.

I don't fault this man at all. However, he has lived, and learned.

And his children have as well, and I guarantee you..it's an experience they will never forget.

I remember not to long ago when the Kerry campaign made a stop in Milwaukee and a couple of Bush supporters with blow horns were protesting and I recall the big stink the media made about it the next day as if those few represented every Bush supporter! Let's just see what kind of coverage and outrage the MSM will provide tomorrow on this attack on a little girl!!
