I am new at this, so be patient. I have a question, and I do not know how to post one, or get information.

I know that Military Reserve Units, and The National Guard fought in every war up to Vietnam. The way I hear news people talk it appears no members of reserve units ever fought in Vietnam. That must be wrong, as I had friends who went to Vietnam out of Military Reserve Units.

How does the news media get away with refering to them as draft dodgers? After active duty I served a short time in the reserve,(as do most)and I don't think I was a draft dodger.

How would one get information on the number of Reservist and National Guardsman who served in Vietnam?

I would try using a search engine, such as www.google.com. Type 'Vietnam reserve' and 'Vietnam national guard' click Search. The explore the links (results) you get. You will be amazed at what you find.
