Simply because this was done at Kinko's doesn't mean the composition took place there.
Seems to me this was a convenient place for Barnes and Burkett to get together, review the work done elsewhere, and send it on to CBS as previously agreed.
All the FAXING would be done from commercial establishments like Kinko's to eliminate someone tieing in identities and telephone/fax numbers.
What we need is the copy Mr. Barnes received for review by Mr. Burkett.
do you think burkett would be stupid enough to SAVE the document on a kinko's hard drive?
hmm.. someone better check before they are erased, if they havent already been.
If the memos were typed at Kinko's, mightn't one of the Kinko's hard drives still contain the deleted copy? The forger doesn't sound all that geeky that he'd have thought about its ghost-presence. And would that particular Kinko's allow itself to be investigated?
You make a very good point. I do believe a couple of Texas Rangers should show up on Mr Burkett's doorstep and start aasking some very tough questions. I'm sure this is illegal under Texas law and Burkett just might be persuaded that this is the time to come clean with all the details and get a break or take the very hard fall all by himself?
Impressive analysis muawiyah....
My gut tells me that the document seen in the CBS pdfs has not been faxed more than once. I have staff fax me faxes of faxes all the time and the quality degrades substantially.
