If the memos were typed at Kinko's, mightn't one of the Kinko's hard drives still contain the deleted copy? The forger doesn't sound all that geeky that he'd have thought about its ghost-presence. And would that particular Kinko's allow itself to be investigated?
I'm still guessing he was bright enough to use outside (non-Texas) talent through other Democrats ~ e.g. the people in Nashville who've been mouthing off about this for several years.
Anyway, Dan Rather was born in Wharton, TX. It's a Houston suburb (almost, but I've been there and there's plenty of scrub between it and a real town).
No doubt Rather has more than a passing relationship with Mr. Barnes.
These people are all a bunch of homeboys, and still they ended up screwing each other.
Hmm, wondering what style the fax machine is. The one I used at work (an old one) always had an ink cartridge that showed the imprint of the letters that were faxed. Wonder if they have that cartridge...that shows what other phone numbers (DNC FAX?) etc that memo was sent?
Time to look at the CEO and officers of Kinkos. Perhaps one of them is a Republican who would be glad to look at this branch's phone records and see who else was faxed documents from this customer on this date.
