I have no doubt he did the faxing, and he has the motive and opportunity. The problem I have is believing he is Rather's unimpeachable source.
I mean, would FOX describe one of FR's firebreathers unimpeachable? I have no problem with people being partisan, but I can't believe CBS would stake it's reputation on one man who's been in a mental hospital.

I'm afraid they simply felt safe from scrutiny. They based their reputations on a man who said computers and laser printers were not capable of producing a lower case "L". The fact is they have gotten away with this type of stuff for so long they are not even carefull any more.
