They had Kinko's in 1972? LOL
LOLOLOLOL!
OMG that funny 68
Rack ittt
I first hear of Kinko back in 1985
I left my drivers license on a machine at kinkos a couple weeks ago. had to make a copy for work...
no, this has nothing to do with anything.
LOL!
Thats the way that Rather will spin it!
"They had Kinko's in 1972? LOL"
Sure, I used to develop my digital photos there as a kid.
Yes, they did. We had one in the town where I attended college in the late '60s.
Yah, what they didn't have is Fed-Ex Kinko's.
When you use one of those you have to pass several on/in the way!
I believe Kinkos started in late 1971 or early 1972 in Isla Vista,
the neighborhood which borders UC Santa Barbara.
I was there. They used to Xerox books for 1 penny a page,
which if a book was, lets say 400 pages, could be done for
$4 instead of paying 10-12 bucks for the book...not a bad proposition
since I am not sure there was any "controlling legal authority" at
the time to hamper them.
They were very popular , though I didn't use their services.
When all the copyright infringement laws came into play, that
kind of blatant rip-off came to an end.
Of course, they have since gone "huge" and recently were
bought out by Fed-Ex.....
If this guy did the documents at Kinkos, that would be
incredibly "lame".....There would be records of the transaction
with computer memory, discs, hard copies, payment stubs...
also has anyone looked into the POB one one of the
"documents: being consecutive numbers? I think it is
34567.....sounds very fishy...
ROFL too funny! Yeah, but it was Greyhound Kinkos back then, not Fedex!
