"Nothing like corroborating your story..after it's published"
Especially with an 86 year old witness.

The greatest thing about all this is the common guy who reads his local liberal paper-one msm evening news show-and 60 minutes- and thinks he's "well informed" has to think...if CBS lied about this, what else did they lie to us about?

word from a DUbious source is " Michael Dobbs of the Washington Post just told Lester Holt on MSNBC that CBS has flown the 86 year old secretary to New York"Oh, if this is accurate, this will be hilarious! So they're gonna tramp out this 86 yr old sec. who has said the docs are fakes, but AGREES with the content of the docs!!
CBS News at the moment is the laughing stock of the MSM, the National Inquirer has more credibility at this point!

I will not forget that CBS news anchor Dan Rather preceded President Bush's address to the nation with the snide remark, "No matter how you feel about him, he is still our president."

LOL! I just finished making stir-fry chicken and vegetables. Quick, nutritious, and something I can pawn off as taking a lot more effort.
I did get three rooms cleaned today while waiting for this darn announcement!

You know what? I couldn't be more interested in this story and I can't wait to hear that Dan stonewalled again on the CBS evening news. But I just can't bring myself to tune in to CBS. I can't bring myself to do it. I haven't tuned into a major network evening news program in ten or fifteen years.

"that CBS has flown the 86 year old secretary to New York"
Odd, didn't they just find her yesterday? And wasn't it the Dallas News that located her?
The timing of this is suspiciously laughable

I just heard part of the statement on CBS radio news. Andrew Heyward CBSNews pres, says we wouldn't have done the story if we didnt think the docs were legit, but since SO MANY DOUBTS have been raised we will redouble our efforts to confirm the docs.
TRANSLATION: HOW DARE YOU PLEBES DOUBT US! SINCE ABC, WAPO ETC HAVE JOINED YOU, WE HAVE TO DO MORE WORK TO TRY TO FOOL YOU AGAIN. THIS IS VERY INCONVENIENT, DON'T LET IT HAPPEN AGAIN!
DON'T YOU KNOW WHO WE ARE? WE ARE SEEEEEEEEE BS NEWS!

Well, the secretary WAS willing to talk to the media, and the fact she flew to New York to be with Dan Rather suggests that she is going to finger Bush. It doesn't look good.

CBS President says they are redoubling their efforts to certify docs!!!! Great Scott! Did the lawyers tell Moonves it was OK to put his ass on the line like that? Or is Moonves dumb enough to act against their good advice?
