Rather is not missing...He interviewed the elderly secretary and Brit announced they'll air it tonight on Sixty Minutes Two.
I saw you say earlier that CBS would admit the documents were fake and that Rather might resign. I, too, thought Rather might be forced out.
I have contended since I realized the documents were fake that Rather was knowingly complicit. After reading comments John Roberts has made, and now this CBS statement, I must say that it looks like a wider group over at CBS involved.
But I think knowingly involved with the DNC/Kerry Kamp they are.
What are your thoughts on proceeding with Congressional hearings. I vote "aye".

1. They are being attacked by the right wing.
2. The documents are probably not real but they contain elements of the truth (?)

What a great exchange. I remember Brit saying with considerable force "you can't have a "story" based on documents you don't know to exits".

I honestly thought DanO was snookerd by someone, but the way they are reacting makes me think it was an inside job, with Dan Rather/SeeBS Big-wigs somehow involved in the creation, not just the dissemination of the fraudlent docs..
They're actually dumb enough to think this sort of publicity is good for their ratings!

I do the cooking at the Slim house. Mrs. Slim is a wise and crafty woman. She convinced me that the stove, the washer and dryer, and the vacuum were all "Power tools" early in our marriage. So I flex my muscles and say "You'd better let me take care of that." She just smiles. :)

His first story was indicative of See BS’s stance – President proposed a large aid package for those who are about to be wiped by Hurricane Ivan – but only because this is an election year. The package will be passed – and add to our enormous deficit!
