Kelley Wright just reported that CBS is expected to make a statement this morning regarding the documents!
Oh S**T!!..Rush is coming on..are we that stupid?
You're not in pajamas and you're posting!?!?! Admin Moderator...Admin Moderator...poster not in pajamas alert!;o)
Am I the only one that thinks it is funny that the subject line for the most oft quoted forgery is "CYA"? The foreshadowing is almost too much.
I disagree. while they have deflected some attention to Kerry that they don't want, it is only temporary. This thing is eventually going to lead back to his campaign.
People do not care about Bush's Guard service. People are intrigued with how desperate the Dems are at this point, and how low they are going to sink.
-"It's not the nature of the evidence, but the seriousness of the charge. Bush needs to answer the charges now."-
That seems to be the status quo among liberals, which is "the ends justify the means".
A similar underhanded situation occurred two years ago. And just last month the court ruled against our liberal WA state congressman "Bagdad" Jim McDermott. As you may recall, "Bagdad" Jim illegally obtained an audio tape of Newt Gingrich, who was discussing a private conversation over a cell phone. Newt lost his position over an ethics violation despite the way the evidence was illegally attained. The perpetrator, Jim has yet to lose his job since he represents a congressional district which is grossly liberal in Seattle. To his constituents, its possible Jim is more popular for his misdeeds. Simply put, Seattle is a liberal bastion and has little regard for law if and when it means pushing their liberal agenda.
Similarly, Dan Rather has ridden a liberal agenda his entire career. Also, He has abused his position.
It's not Bush who needs to answer to charges, Rather its Blather who should.
Where is Donald Trump when you need him! He needs to say what others will not say, "Dan, you're fired!" ;)
I've been waiting for one of the Fox News Alerts to NOT be about Ivan. They probably need to cut down on the number of alerts they put out. Everytime I hear the Alert sound I look up at the tv and see the Hurricane Alert again.
As though a bunch of Leftist newshacks sitting around a conference table at CBS discussing how to torpedo GW's election is "legitimate" journalism? Feh!
and during NYSE trading hours.....
can we post in our underwear?
Yes, of course. Also "No forged document ever fed a hungry child."
But right now I am in a suit, at work.
HELLO DAN RATHER>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
WE ARE ASHAMED YOUR FROM TEXAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
READ THIS AND KNOW YOUR BEING BLOGGED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL! You are soooo right! Just make sure the bathrooms are clean. Thats really the only place where one can sit and contemplate the conditions. And clean out the medicine cabinets. ha ha
We win.
CBS has just announced that Dan Rather has flown to an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico, where he will file exclusive reports on the arrival of Hurricane Ivan..
Well, I think I will make myself some lunch while I am waiting.
I do a lot of reading/reviewing of business case studies. For those not in the know, case studies are narratives of events that happened in actual businesses. The point of a case study is to pick them apart to see where mistakes were made by management (or the "organization") and to surmize when and how they could have done things differently... and how those alternatives could have led to a better outcome.
CBS Memogate is going to make one hell of a case study one day.
