yaknow. i see the over reaction here on this thread and wonder what the heck is going on?? i mean, is it any stretch of the imagination that a navy seal would be sickened if he were falsely told that dubya didn't live up to his obligation?? this is america correct. i say it's wrong to attempt to attack this man for his opinion. that puts us no better than the liberal idiots who attack anyone right of karl marx as right wing fanatics. i believe we should accept his opinion and move on, after all, he is only one man.
You seem to be missing the point.
The attack is on the AP reporter for not checking his facts. (Rather and 60 Minutes ring a bell?) AP is notorious for it's anti-Bush bias (hear any booing in the crowd?), and this reporter deserves to be 'outed' for not checking his facts before going with this story.
This man is a liar, who has stolen the valor of genuine Viet Nam SEAL veterans, to add to his miserable actual persona, for the purpose of having the bona fides to smear President Bush.
As such, he is miserable pond scum, and deserves the blowback he's getting.
His opinion is not the issue. He is entitled to that in any case.
His truthfulness about his status/position is being challenged. There is a great deal of difference. If he is who he claims to be ther is no reason for nonresponsiveness/coverup.
