At 258 inches, or 21-1/2 feet long, the CXT's about 4-1/2 feet longer than the new Hummer H2 pickup, and about 2 inches longer than the F-350 Crew Cab. But it really towers over what's on the road now is in height, at 108 inches, or 11 feet, a foot above a basketball rim and more than two feet taller than the Hummer or the F-350.

You can bet the NYTimes and other liberal media will be attacking this before the end of the news cycle. Freightliner (owned by Daimler-Benz) proudly introduced a similar rig about eighteen months ago, and was roundly criticized and ridiculed on the next day's front page. Freightliner had to then backpedal and say they wouldn't offer it for general distribution. Remember how Sierra Club, Greenpeace et al went after Ford and the Excursion?

"This is ridiculous and irresponsible."
Nah..... it's perfect for certain people. Every racing team in the country is going to want to trade in their tractor trailer rigs for one of these. Don't be such a girlie man;-)

"I'll stick with Ford products..."
You WILL be sticking with a Ford product. As Ford and International continue merging, my understanding is that the DT466 motor will become available in larger Ford trucks. And in case you couldn't tell, the same design team that did the Lincoln Navigator also did the new International styling.

Bet it sucks at driveup windows too. Definitely, if you drive through fast enough.
