At 258 inches, or 21-1/2 feet long, the CXT's about 4-1/2 feet longer than the new Hummer H2 pickup, and about 2 inches longer than the F-350 Crew Cab. But it really towers over what's on the road now is in height, at 108 inches, or 11 feet, a foot above a basketball rim and more than two feet taller than the Hummer or the F-350.

Wow, I'd like one. I really wish that IH would bring back pickup trucks again, because I would own one. My first vehicle was a 1965 IH 4X4 that my dad gave me when I was in HS. It was geared so that anything over 55 mph was impossible, but what an awesome truck. I sold it in a fit of idiocy in wanting a sports car, I wish I'd kept it.
Lemme see....
6 tons equals how many Harleys on a trailer?
I'll bet that sucker would haul my 4 horse trailer up Donner Pass without any trouble at all. Now I am envious!!!!! Come on Lottery......
Yes. It's 'arguable'.
One of the models was in fact the "Internation Himilaya", the first SUV with an elevator. Seats 20 "go ahead, take the WHOLE soccer team". And all the hauling capacity you need on that trip home from Costco.
I know the site. I've got a couple of pics I snagged off it on my 'puter at home.
I think Plaxico Burress of the Pittsburgh Steelers owns one already. He drove to training camp this year and it is totally pimped out.
$250,000 ~ $500,000 depending on builder (NOT Bayliner) and amenities
It looks like a short bed, is that an illusion? I'd need a long bed that dumps. It would be great to tow a camper with and have the H-D in the bed! Don't think a Hyundai would work for that.
Bump for reference. I'll need these pics to show my banker.
Just the truck for DeerCampNorth!
...carry another six tons in its truck bed......
That's sure a lot of empty beer cans.
uh oh ... I hope Mr. RightField doesn't come across this thread ...
BE RIGHT OVER!
City Mileage: .5 mpg
Highway Mileage: 3.5mgp
There was a Simpsons episode about 8 years ago where Marge bought a giant SUV called a "Canyonero". The sad thing is that it was smaller than much of the stuff on the market today.
They already make a long bed version of this that dumps.
It's called a dumptruck.
This is not a pickup, its a tractor-trailer.
