Yep. I just went there and this account is listed:

I find Jim's absence on this thread (and topic) to be highly hughly supicious....disturbing even. Could it be that he is off plotting our next move with Karl Rove, aka, buckhead? < /sarcasm >
Wait until they see the IL threads, LOL. Just kidding!!!
...given to us by Matt LaBash of the Weekly Standard: "...a fierce, warlike tribe from the Free Republic organization--a fire-breathing conservative band of Internet brothers.."
This LA Times article should go into Free Republic Hall of Fame. Kudos to Buckhead!
SORELOSERMAN (Registered, and other collaborators) may have been the first real FR out in the public light ...
CatsPaw suggested in a post that OBL was behind 9/11 within a few minutes of the second aircraft impact.

Nude freeping?
The lamestream Old Media is finally starting to understand that the internet is truly powerful.
Many of them will not make the transition, and will die.

bttt
Another wonderful thing about FR is that it truly levels the playing field. Everyone here who is intellectually honest has something valuable to contribute, and it makes no difference if you're a teacher or a student, an engineer or assembly worker, a doctor or the secretary in the front office, an author or a reader, a Walmart administrator or the greeter at the front door, a librarian or the bum that comes in off the street to use the computer. That goes a long way to eliminate the kind of elitist snobbery that permeates the MSM. I think that's why the anonymity bugs them so much. Heck, we could even be getting fed information from closet conservatives on their own "teams" who are fed up with their BS. They can't really attack or discredit someone about whom they nothing, other than a FReeper screen name with a grasp of facts that confounds them.
Or a cadre of rightest warriors, as this person states! LOL I love it.
See John's #34 here. He doesn't address the number of new accounts, but the volume of traffic. I'm not sure he knows the number of new accounts. Perhaps the mods would know that.
I second that. We may go down in history as the PPP (Political Pajama Party) that changed the world...or at least saved America.

THANKS HOWLIN FOR THE SUMMARY:
There is so much information OUT THERE, I decided to put up the OFFICIAL version, rather than let bloggers misconstrue what actually happened.
This is the OFFICIAL timeline:
I put this thread up for the 60 Minutes show.
Live Thread: Ben Barnes and CBS Attempt Another Bush Smear (60 Minutes) at 7:39:18 PM EDT.
At 8:19:00 PM EDT TankerKC posted this:
...
Then Pikamax put up this thread:
Documents Suggest Special Treatment for Bush in Guard
To which Buckhead posted the shot heard round the world:
To: Howlin
Howlin, every single one of these memos to file is in a proportionally spaced font, probably Palatino or Times New Roman.

After all the questions that arose from everybody on the forum, I put this thread up:
THE "New" CBS BUSH DOCUMENTS: Let's do some investigating
As Buckhead said on another thread, many, many Freepers were involved.
--->>>
As you have noted, many FReepers contributed to this. I was not one of them this time, however I have been a contributer to some other stories in the past, as a great many FReepers here at this wonderful virtual think tank have contributed. The lamestream Old Media can not compete with us any more, but if they choose to, they can benefit from our research. Some of them are starting to realize that we have real power.
I don't think the Old Media can survive with its present leftist formulary.

Check out this thread, nic, if you haven't already. It's a good one.
