Another wonderful thing about FR is that it truly levels the playing field. Everyone here who is intellectually honest has something valuable to contribute, and it makes no difference if you're a teacher or a student, an engineer or assembly worker, a doctor or the secretary in the front office, an author or a reader, a Walmart administrator or the greeter at the front door, a librarian or the bum that comes in off the street to use the computer. That goes a long way to eliminate the kind of elitist snobbery that permeates the MSM. I think that's why the anonymity bugs them so much. Heck, we could even be getting fed information from closet conservatives on their own "teams" who are fed up with their BS. They can't really attack or discredit someone about whom they nothing, other than a FReeper screen name with a grasp of facts that confounds them.

See John's #34 here. He doesn't address the number of new accounts, but the volume of traffic. I'm not sure he knows the number of new accounts. Perhaps the mods would know that.

I was not one of them this time, however I have been a contributer to some other stories in the past, as a great many FReepers here at this wonderful virtual think tank have contributed. The lamestream Old Media can not compete with us any more, but if they choose to, they can benefit from our research. Some of them are starting to realize that we have real power.
