Sad that Kerry camp is actually going to run an opposing response, as if this is a state of the union. It reflects their contradictionalist mindset. No matter what Bush says, they have to criticize him.

Sure does.

How can they run an opposition to his speech? Unless they are against America.

The President did a fine job.

Maybe it's just as well. I think most people see this for what it is, and I expect the President's poll numbers to go up as a result. Criticizing this speech (especially) looks really petty.

even if that buzzard doesn't mention the presidential race, millions of people have GOT to wonder, "what the heck is HE doing, speaking now"?

Hopefully millions will also recall that he was a no-show on the Senate Intelligance Committee, even after the first attack on the WTC,

and that he was forwarded TWO, that is TWO separate memos outlining professionals' concerns about security at Boston's Logan Airport in 2001.

There was Bob Beckel on Fox a few minutes ago...Cavuto's show...turning the 9/11 remembrance into a political hack job. Ugly. Should backlash big time, as well as Kerry's speech if he's stupid enough, and he is, to blast GW on security issues or anything else. It's a day to remember, mourn, and pull together. Anyone who heard Rumsfeld's speech at Arlington or Guiliani's speech in NY couldn't help but be moved and strengthened in purpose.

A man on Cavuto now, who lost his brother on 9/11 says the families just want no one else in the country to walk in their shoes. He mentioned the war in Iraq, was it right, he didn't want to say, GW had to make hard decisions, he's glad he isn't President. What this man doesn't get is that the entire nation has been walking in 9/11 families' shoes from the moment the first plane hit.

Sad that Kerry camp is actually going to run an opposing response

Kerry is going to claim that it's 9/10.

Sad that Kerry camp is actually going to run an opposing response...

Kerry is a sponge for bad advice...or... Kerry has no control over his campaign.

Witchy is it?

Kerry: "I stand opposed to George W. Bush's memorial of the 9/11 event. I am for the terrorism that caused those planes to fly into the towers. We need fewer buildings like those in America, so endangered birds can have easier migratory flight paths. We need fewer buildings like those in America, so the sun can shine down on the impoverished. G.W. Bush is wrong: 9/11 was a great and wonderful time in American history..... and if you elect me president, I will make sure we have more days like it!"

On a day that is supposed to be for remembering those lost, the Dems are actually going to stain it with a statement to counter Bush's comments? And they claim that Bush is politicizing 9/11? Amazing!!!
