Flight for N.Y. Diverted After Bomb Threat

LONDON — A Singapore Airlines (search) passenger jet from Frankfurt to New York was diverted to Manchester Airport (search) in northern England on Monday after a bomb threat that police said may have been a hoax.
A second flight from Frankfurt, a United Airlines plane en route to Chicago, diverted to Heathrow airport in England on Sunday for mechanical reasons and had been due to resume its journey Monday but was delayed for unspecified security reasons, the airline said.
Singapore Airlines flight SQ26 with 292 passengers and 19 crew landed safely at 6 a.m. without a military escort, Greater Manchester Police said. It was the fourth commercial service diverted as a security precaution in Europe in the last nine days.
The pilot declared a "full emergency" mid-flight, a spokesman for Manchester Airport said. The Boeing 747-400 (search) was bound for New York's JFK airport.
"Early indications are that it could be a hoax, but we cannot confirm that one way or another until full checks are carried out," a spokeswoman for Greater Manchester Police said.
In Germany, federal police spokesman Klaus Ludwig said a bomb threat against the flight was made in a call to police in the southwestern German city of Tuebingen. The same caller also threatened a United Airlines flight to Chicago and a Lufthansa flight to London, he said.
Ludwig said the caller had a male voice but gave no further details.
"We got a security warning from the German security authorities," said Peter Menkel, an official with Singapore Airlines in Frankfurt. "It had nothing to do with a passenger on board — it was external."
A United Airlines spokeswoman said Sunday's UA945 flight from Frankfurt to Chicago was diverted to Heathrow for mechanical reasons.
It had been due to resume its journey on Monday. Police said Monday the flight had been searched and given an all-clear but the airline said it was still being delayed for security reasons. No time had been set for the flight to take off, the airline said.
In Germany, Lufthansa spokeswoman Katrin Haase said the airline had consulted with authorities and deemed the threat against one of its flights was not concrete enough and the flight went ahead

It's unnerving that threats to flights are increasing again.
Tom Marzullo is a first class analyst with a solid head on his shoulder. Not too many former submariners with Special Ops experience around besides him, and that makes an extremely potent combination when anylizing nuclear proliferation. I trust anything he says in an article with my life.
He is spot on about proliferation and rogue states, and I know he knows the business well enough to make the assessment. What I believe needs to be stated in his article is one additional fact that the article didnt address because it was outside the focus of piece.
North Korea and Iran are working on extremely long range ballistic missiles with Orbital range and the capacity to deliver a payload anywhere on planet Earth from orbit.
They are still in development and not operational, but are ONE GENERATION AWAY from deployment. They probably will be deployed within the next ten years. If they make technology advances, they could be available within 5 years.
Our problems dont just end with the terrorists. Rogue nations with orbital ballistic missiles are a very real threat to ouor existance.

Earlier today I came across some interesting posts at above top secret. Tried to log on, but they do not accept people who are not logging in from own computer. However, I'll go over and copy the relevant posts for us to look at. It had to to with the activation of the "Old Guard" in Washington DC, and certain other observations.
Apparently if you autoclave long enough and hot enough you can kill it. Alcohol won't kill it. About 20 years ago there were a couple of cases of people who had EEGs. The electrodes were placed in alcohol after the first patient. Three or four subsequent patients got it. Ugly.

My mom works at Ft. Meade in Maryland and I used to be in the Old Guard at Ft. Myer in Arlington, VA.
The Old Guard was responsible for all of the funerals and wreath-laying ceremonies in Arlington National Cemetary, as well as retirements, arrivals for foreign dignitaries and domestice public relations events. But the combat role of The Old Guard was to keep peace in DC, which we had to do during the WTO riots in 2000.
Apparently, as a friend confirmed, they are on alert and have been doing exercises related to terrorist attacks, like 9/11. You could dismiss this as just an exercise, but to be put on alert, means that they think something is going to happen, it's not just a cautionary measure.
During my 3 years in the Old Guard, we were only put on alert once and that was for the riots, which we had to serve rotating shifts as riot control and only then, because we were the MP platoon in the Old Guard.
For the entire district to be activated and put on alert should raise some serious red flags with you guys. (snip)

Prior to this Williams explains that previous attacks have fallen on significant dates, for instance the bombings of the U.S embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. These occurred on August 7th, the anniversary of George H.W Bush's commitment to send troops to protect Saudi Arabia.
I don't remember the exact number of the posts on this thread discussing the 7th October, but it was some time whilst I was on holiday, during the last 800 posts. Sorry that doesn't narrow it down much!

I don't know. It is really troubling me that almost everything seems to point to October 6-12th.

Kharrazi says Iran ready to react if Israel strikes nuclear plants

Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi considers Israel a threat to his nation's nuclear facilities.
"When there is a threat, you have to take it into consideration and be prepared to react. We are prepared," Kharrazi told Newsweek in an interview.
When asked if Iran will use its Shihab missiles, Kharrazi replied only that "There are capabilities that we will use. Shihab missiles are well developed and made in Iran, and we are proud of having them."
The magazine also asked Kharrazi whether Iran supports the two-state solution for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He replied that if that is what the Palestinians decide that they want, then it will not upset Iran. However, he added, "we are for a one-state solution."
Kharrazi also claimed that Iran's nuclear enrichment program "is solely for producing fuel needed in our power plants. It is not for producing nuclear weapons."

Has 'The Go Code' Been Given? The ACSA Provides a Closer Look

ACSA has observed the diabolical release of a long predicted "Terror Go Code" from Bin Laden in the form of the "Attack Infidel Americans Everywhere even after we're gone!" audio taped message played on Al Jazeera this AM 10/1/04. It was issued by Bin Laden lieutenant "Dr. Al Zawaharis". "The reason for using the lieutenant is to start the ball in motion prior to what may be an immanent Bin Laden Video, so the attack can occur immediately thereafter, or to counter our intelligence predictions by creating a sense of uncertainty about whether or not this is THE go code, or just another empty threat," stated Dr. Milton Abrahamson, ACSA's decryption expert, adding "That 'even after we're gone' means Al Qaeda knows we have (and the government has) developed a way to directly monitor their activities, so they are trying to obscure their efforts further. If they don't scare off, America can expect attempted Terror Attacks abroad and on the Continental US within a week to 10 days (by the 15th). We believe most will be intercepted and quelled." Al Qaeda, backed tacitly by a Pakistani-Chinese hardliner military alliance, allied to a certain oil empire, is in a last ditch effort to prevent the completion of Democratic Transition in Iraq. Recently, Al Qaeda and Al Qaeda connected groups have graduated from suicide attacks on civilians to the mass slaughter of innocent children in Iraq as in Beslan! ACSA believes the trend line indicates that cowardly Al Qaeda animals will try to sneak into the USA and target school children & Universities here!

U.N. Calls Emergency Meeting on Israel

UNITED NATIONS -- The U.N. Security Council called an emergency meeting Monday at the request of Arab nations to consider a resolution demanding an immediate halt to a major Israeli offensive in the northern Gaza Strip.
Algeria's U.N. Ambassador Abdallah Baali, the only Arab member of the council, requested the open meeting following the nearly weeklong operation that has killed at least 65 Palestinians.
"Taking into account the gravity, the urgency of the situation, the seriousness of the situation, we need to have the Security Council take a decision quickly -- and quickly means tomorrow (Tuesday) at the latest," Baali said.
The draft resolution, which was endorsed Monday morning by Arab nations, expresses "grave concern at the continued deterioration of the situation on the ground" in Palestinian territories and calls on Israel and the Palestinians to immediately implement the internationally-backed road map peace plan.
The Arab draft condemns "the broad military incursion and attacks by the Israeli occupying forces in the area of Northern Gaza Strip, including in and around the Jabiliya refugee camp, resulting in extensive human casualties and destruction and exacerbating the dire humanitarian situation."
It "demands the immediate cessation of all military operations in the area of northern Gaza and the withdrawal of the Israeli occupying forces from that area." It also reiterates the council's call a halt to all violence and adherence to international humanitarian law.
