The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

Muslim group takes responsibility for 9-11: 'We are so sorry'

This September 11 marks the third unforgettable anniversary of the worst mass murder in American history.

After September 11, many in the Muslim world chose denial and hallucination rather than face up to the sad fact that Muslims perpetrated the 9-11 terrorist acts and that we have an enormous problem with extremism and support for terrorism. Many Muslims, including religious leaders, and "intellectuals" blamed 9-11 on a Jewish conspiracy and went as far as fabricating a tale that 4000 Jews did not show up for work in the World Trade Center on 9-11. Yet others blamed 9-11 on an American right wing conspiracy or the U.S. Government which allegedly wanted an excuse to invade Iraq and "steal" Iraqi oil.

Going out the door but wanted to point out a few things:

1) Last night's documentary finally cleared up for me that there were at least two separate "Dragonfire" nuclear threats in Oct and Nov 2001. It makes the Zawahiri timeline more coherent and may correlate Zawahiri statements to potential nuclear threats.

2) The DPRK event happened within 24 hours (before) the public release of the threat.

3) DPRK trainers and advisers were reportedly in Afghanistan just a year prior to 9/11 at the Qaeda camps.

4) "look to the east"

I am wondering if the two events are tied together as one threat.

I am hoping it wasn't a test - - that it was simply another accident that has befallen their program.

I think a Biography on the History Channel about Osama Bin Laden that I just watched has cleared up a mystery for us. Remember the crudely drawn image from a couple of weeks back with the slogan "Destruction of America" written above? Some couldn't decide whether the image was of a ship, a crane or even the skyline of NYC. It also looked like below was the top of a hand drawn map of the U.S.A.

Well in the History Channel documentary they showed an al qaeda recruitment film which was included in the November 2001 video release of Bin Laden. Seven of the nineteen 9/11 hijackers featured in a training segment of the video. That picture was stuck on the wall in the room where that film was shot. There was a close-up of it and I could clearly see that there was an entire map of the U.S drawn underneath which wasn't shown in it's entirety on the image banded about on the internet.

So I guess that image may not have anything to do with a current threat. Well, maybe we can't say that, but it is "old".

I got a job listing for someone who wanted to have an "alarm clock" designed.

It was to count down and 'Upon the timer counting down it will have an output other than a buzzer.'
