I guess we won't be seeing Hodges on 60 Minutes anytime soon.

Me thinks Dan Blather is a very short timer at CBS ... even if he isn't his credibility will be in the tank which means the same thing.

Another shocking revelation!!! I can't believe how this has fallen apart!!! Next, Barnes will recant? I bet there is a ton of dirt on him somewhere, please someone find it. I didn't know this either, Fox interviewed an officer who served with Bush. Apparently, nobody needed special favors to get into the Pilot program with the Guard in Texas. If you had the brains, physical conditioning, etc., they let you in. The waiting list was for non-coms. Then, Killian's son says Bush came to his father twice to volunteer for Palace Alert which would have sent him to Vietnam. So, if I were the WH, let all the Rats go at it, they coming apart at the seams. I guess if I were Bush or Cheney I might say something like:

"Look how they(DNC/MSM) have messed this Guard issue up! And you trust these people to run a war???!!

Retired Maj. General Hodges, Killian's supervisor at the Grd, tells ABC News that he feels CBS misled him about the documents they uncovered. According to Hodges, CBS told him the documents were "handwritten" and after CBS read him excerpts he said, "well if he wrote them that's what he felt."

Come to think of it, it was very telling that CBS used him in the WaPost as a source proving the docs were real, yet they didn't mention him in tonight's report. And even in the WaPost story, it only says that they read him the info over the phone.

This is getting funny.  What if everything is a hoax just to drive 'clicks' to CBS.com ABC.com and Drudge.

So, we already know that 60 minutes has been democrat campaign, smear Bush central, but this is just over the top. Never have I seen such an all out campaign to destroy someone. Dan Rather needs to go.

One other thing:

Hodges also said he did not see the documents in the 70's and he cannot authenticate the documents or the contents. His personal belief is that the documents have been "computer generated" and are a "fraud".

Aha!

ABC is zoned in on this thing, like a laser. I'm not saying we need to relax our grip, but I think ABC is going to bring down Rather from this point.

I haven't had so much fun watching politics since . . . well, I don't remember having this much fun.

I am so glad this revelation emerged after Ran Dather staked his career on the authenticity of those clumsy forgeries on this evening's news.

Kerry's campaign will go into 'ignore' mode tomorrow.

After listening to Hannitys' radio show today it sounded like they were fishing to mold the story to their liking.
