Wow! That is some very strong stuff. Katie Couric will not be pleased. It'll be interesting to see how she juggles this situation with her interview on Monday (and Tuesday and Wednesday) with Kitty Kelley.
Maybe we ought to call CBS and give him David Gregory's number and the FBI trained guy's name.
Now, will Dan Rather call this guy?
I expect Katie will swallow her Kool Aid like the good little DNC foot soldier she is and repeat the party line that while the memo might be a fake, it's the allegations it makes that are important, not the fact that the memo itself is a fraud. She may also tee up a few softballs for Kitty Kelly using this -
"Doesn't this attempt by the Bush White House to deflect attention away from the content of these memos just further prove the points you make with your book?"
The White House is not going to let this go easily either. They are lying low at the moment, but if the story seems to be running out of air, you can bet there will be an infusion of fresh oxygen until the quetion is settled properly.
