Hannity just said a story will be filed later today that from sources inside CBS that the source of the documents is also the one who provided the Abu Grihab prison photos.
By this point in the debate, should not someone have gone out and asked what kind of equipment this ANG unit had?
They were probably located on a civilian airport (POB for address and you still see 'Guard aircraft on civil tarmacs). Always underfunded, NG flying units would put stress on safety and maintenance rather than on office equipment (guessing here). And, SOMEONE must still be alive who could provide a summary of what they worked with every day or every week end.
I'm betting that if they had one executive IBM they were darn lucky and it was guarded like an only child by a civilian secretary who would NOT be called upon to type a cover your ass memo for the boss.
Thanks, I'll be using that in the future.
I thought if ever there was a reason for old Sean to "defend himself" on air that would have been it......... The segment ended and I suspect Hannity made his point with the little rat off air.......
Stay safe !
Good, Bob...Go get a simple Selectric and reproduce the documents for us, otherwise, go back to your roost at DU.
It had NO kerning. It did NOT easily center a block -- had to be done manually. And in manual postiong of the carriage it is IMPOSSIBLE to have EXACTLY repeated stike positions on two different reports -- as the forgery has The characters struck in the line baselie had far more variance up and down than the forgery has.
I also used a number of selectrics and different type balls in those days. The forgeries did NOT come off a selectric.
Maybe a laser-jet.
That was Robert Reich, I would think.
Stay safe !
The spacing of the words and letters do not match the Microsoft version; which BTW; matches totally and completely; letter for letter/spacing for spacing the 'reported. . .purported. . .memos'.
An Emmylou-Harris fan by chance? Wouldn't doubt it!
Frightenly, and more to 'their' point; a President can be brought down; an election lost. . .
The worst of it; is they know just how protected they are by the 'rest' of the Lib media; and so the now determinedly anti-Bush forces in the media; simply do not care what must be compromised for their agenda.
Thank God for the Internet and Fox News; both of which is being 'worked on' by the Leftists; as we speak.
Preferably with panties on his head and a glow light stuck in his butt.
Definitely popcorn and beer.
On FN tonight was their weekly media review show and the big lib on that show said that well, the media let the Swiftboat Vets thing hurt Kerry so this is payback, like a referee in a bb game.

Killian Memo Has Wrong Deadline, Cites Wrong Regulation
"For one thing, the proper authority Lt. Colonel Killian should have cited to remind Lt. Bush of his duty to undergo an annual medical examination would have been AFM 160-1. AFM 160-1 contains the actual schedule and other requirements about these medical exams."
..."But according to the AFM 160-1 Bush (like practically everyone else in the Air Force National Guard at the time), was required to get a medical examination every year within 3 months preceding birthday. President George W. Bush was born on July 6, 1946. So according to the controlling authority (AFM 160-1) he had a window from April 6, 1972 until July 6, 1972 to get his "medical."
But his Lt. Colonel is made out to be entirely ignorant of such details: "You are ordered to report to commander, 111 F.L.S., Ellington AFB, not later than (NLT) 14 May, 1972 [emphasis added] to conduct annual physical examination (flight)IAW AFM 35-13."
So not only does the author of this memo cite the wrong authority(AFM 35-13 as opposed to AFM 160-1), he gets the deadline for Lt. Bush's examination wrong. The deadline would have been July 6 the, as opposed to May 14th."
