Tell it to the President of CBS News, Andrew Heyward.

Andrew Heyward -- CBS News
Title: President
Department: Headquarters
Phone: (212) 975-4321
Fax: (212) 975-1893
Address: 524 W 57th St, New York, NY 10019

FAX him. Load his desk tomorrow morning. My FAX is already there.

I basically asked him if he was satisfied having his reputation dependent on Dan Rather and the folks at 60 Minutes.

My hubby keeps asking why I am surprised.......and I don't know why, but I am.

A little subterfuge, a little spinning, a little misrepresenting.......but this???????

They'll just say he "retired" in 1972 but hadn't "left" yet because of the paperwork required. Or something just as lame.

To make this point valid, military records on Staudt should be easier enough to find and checked out for when he was released of duty and left.

They'll also try and point out that he still could have had "influence".

Then they'll smear him. Blame it on a bureaucratic snafu. Just flat out lie.

And 40-45% of our fellow Americans are this stupid? The Soviet Union should have just held out a little longer...I only give it another 10 years and we're doomed.

As Jeff Birnbaum observed on Fox tonight, if (when) the public comes to believe these memos were forged or otherwise faked it will be a major catastrophe for the Kerry camp - makes me cry just to think about it........

CBS [Along with all and/or any other of the alphabet networks] is caught being dishonest, libelling and slandering Republicans, shilling for the "DemocRATS" and lying to all and sundry?

That's not "news."

And nor is it necessarily related to any actions and/or activities by and/or on behalf of the Cli'ton Crime Family.

While that gang is dumber than dirt and collectively thicker than two planks it's also greedy and mean and is not about to waste a brass Razoo screwing the moronic gigolo self-screwing stumblebum, John Effin' Kerry.

Most "DemocRAT" politicians knowingly lie to those too stupid to know they're being lied to and/or too damned mean-spirited and/or greedy to care.

But some Dim pols are themselves too stupid to know they're being lied to and/or are lying and/or are themselves too damned mean-spirited and/or greedy to care -- and Kerry falls right into that category. [As do Al[Fredo Gore-leone and Bob Graham, Babs Boxer and Osama-Mama bin Murray et al]

And the Cli'tons know he does and also knew that once Kerry became the default "DemocRAT" candidate the American electorate would take care of him -- as indeed it, in its infinite wisdom, is.

And all of the breathless claims to the effect the Cli'ton Gang is wasting its resources manipulating the left-stream media and the Kerry campaign to help the gormless Kerry continue to serially shoot himself in the foot is so much hot air.

Kerry dooms Kerry and needs no help FRom KKlintons, Blythes, Rathers or Rodhams!!

As for the forged 60 minutes documents...

FoxNews mentioned that these types of memos almost CERTAINLY were done on TYPEWRITERS back in 1972. And its almost impossible to fathom that any office had a word processor that could do both PROPORTIONAL SPACING back then AND smaller font superscripts.

Fox is right. These documents could NOT have been done on a word processor in 1972, but there is ANOTHER ANGLE that I haven't heard yet...

PRINTERS!

People should recall how crude printers were in the past. I had a DOT-MATRIX printer roughly 1983 to 1987, and it was fairly expensive. Waaaaay too crude to do this type of document.

And way back in 1972, computers were so rare and huge they sat in large airconditioned rooms and everyone had to time-share them!

These are ABSOLUTELY FORGERIES. CBS shall be hanged.

Has there been any confirmation of this other than our beloved (gag) LA Times? My blood pressure is up enough already and I don't want to get too excited if this isn't true... Please say it is true...

Let's all try to remember that G.H.W. Bush flew to Iran to persuade them to hold on to the hostages to screw Jimmy Carter, and G.H.W. Bush strafed innocent Japanese civilians in a small boat in WW II. The DNC lie machine continues!

I just sent CBS a nasty email telling them I would start contacting sponsors and complaining if they don't either retract the forged documents story or do some followup on this situation. One person won't matter to them but if we Freeped them good it might make a difference. I added a PS and told them Rather might as well wear a Kerry-Edwards T-Shirt to work. I have never seen such a slanted journalist.

NEWLAND WIRE SERVICES
Dan Rather has dismissed the significance of the proven forgery of documents that were used by him on 60 Minutes regarding George Bush' National Guard service records in 1972.

"I have read the minds of all those who were involved...so I know what is really true. I have also personally witnessed a seance where those who are no longer alive have come back to report the truth about Bush."

How dare you question me and 60 Minutes!

Men in white jackets were seen entering Rather's lavish dressing room at CBS as we completed our interview. Minutes later, Rather was removed from the room clinging to a 1972 IBM Selectric typewriter, screaming..."from my cold, dead hands you will!"

When the curtain closes, and the votes are cast, even Bill and Hillary Clinton will vote for W, for they really DO care about Chelsea's safety.

Besides, how else can HRC be a candidate in 2008?

Looks more and more likely that poor John Edwards hitched his wagon to a falling star. Now, who might have put him up to that?
