My dad worked for IBM, and bought (at company discount,of course) a Selectric typewriter for my mom around 1970. It replaced the old Underwood. She may still have the Selectric.
I typed a few school papers on the Selectric and tried like hell to get the "th" superscript. AFAIK, there was no separate "th" superscript.

The only way to do a th on a selectric was to move the typewriter back 1/2 turn and even then the th was large.

An Executive is not a Selectric. Calm down. At this point we should demand that CBS release the originals to experts. I don't believe they can.
