IBM Selectric typewriters were used except by secretaries/admin personnel at the General Officer who had to request special permission to order Executive typewriters. No one below a General Officer or equivalent would have had anything but selectric typewriters. At an ANG wing, I can guarantee that selectric typewriters were used and NO Executive typewriters were there.
Aren't there laws preventing journalism/media from trying deliberately to affect an election through biased reporting? Doesn't FR have a couple of attorneys surfing around here? I would be DELIGHTED to sign a petition requesting litigation to challenge CBS' license to broadcast. I would LOVE for the Freepers to instigate it.
I think the line of defense has been hinted at by some on these threads. CBS will claim that they re-did the docs for air because they were difficult to read in their original form. But I mean PUH-LEASE!! CBS "news" forges their video, even document signatures? That alone is a scandal. It just won't work. They're busted.
Interesting, but if we could come across a vendor record that shows that the typewriters they had in the office could absolutely not create the docs, the Left would be discredited for a long, long time.
