He doesn't sound bitter. He just sounds matter of fact. He also doesn't sound lost anymore.

Mark just clarified: That John Kerry has said that he only told Congress what he was told about atrocities what he heard from others. In reality, John Kerry told at least Steve Pitkin, what to say so Kerry could testify to it later.

Powerful stuff.

A few issues he mentioned need time to follow up on, for sure.

He and a few other vets than joined with VVAW were of the fight to win or get out mind. (A good mind, that.) They were angry at the media for the slurs at that time against the vets. At the DC anti-war rallies when Rubin and others tried waving the Cong and NVA flags, Pitkin says he and those others made them remove the enemy flags.
