President Bush continued his bus tour of Missouri today with appearances at Lees Summit High School, in Lees Summit, Missouri, a stop at a business in Warrensburg, then on to the Missouri State Fair Coliseum in Sedalia for an Ask the President event, after having appeared before a crowd of 30,000 cheering supporters in Poplar Bluff last evening. The President is scheduled to travel through Missouri by bus for the rest of the day and return to the White House this evening.
Its a GOOD time to be a Bushbot! Enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose!
Sweetie I still got my "I like Ike" button! Got to shake his hand when he drove by my school....Still brings me to tears to think about it.
I didn't know it either, but FNC reported it.
Wow!
Isn't it weird the effect a great person can have on you?
I well up when I think of the time I met Bush.
He just has a presence that I can't explain.
What a special person!
(PS-I think I have an "I like Ike" button that I got from a dealer at the state fair one year...and a few Nixon ones. The guy got a kick out of the 18-year-old who was interested in his old campaign button collection!)
Yes!...I cannot tell you how GLAD I am that he is President and how HAPPY 4 more years will make me!
**Cheney will be in Cincinnati Thursday for a Town Hall meeting. I'm certain he will have a few choice replies to Kerry's attacks on the President**
Can't wait to read the report he will do his normal slice and dice in calm and reasoned way
Good to see you! Thanks! I'll wear it with pride as a reminder to pray (AND VOTE) for President Bush. :-D
Hiya, snugs!
How goes it?
**Hope he used Hunts Catsup....
Texans use mustard**
So do the English Colemans
I have absolutely no use for ketsup
Sigh :-) Thanks for the Dose. I was out of town for military duty last week and had no internet. Withdrawal is a Nasty thing! I missed my Dose.
Oops, posted under Hubby's ID. This is ODC-GIRL!
**Have you noticed it's mostly 'Kerry', very little 'Kerry/Edwards'? OTOH, the President mentions VP Cheney at every opportunity. So much for running away from his VP.**
Which just goes to show who is of most value to their ticket the Veep of course. GWB is loyal and Kerry is not Vietnam Vetrans "flip flop" etc.

Kerry forgets EDwards is even there....He slammed CHeney for not serving and Edwards (who also didn't serve)was standing within arms length behind him......Well duh! There's a elephant in the room.
**It's not just his goodness (born of Christ in him), it's four years of prayers poured out by many of those who finally get to meet him. Young'uns, take note. We are not likely to see this again for a very long time. God has blessed America. And we're so blessed to be living witnesses to this amazing chapter in our history.**
I echo your sentiments from Britain
A bit hectic today not been a good one for mum hope she settles tonight; she can't seem to sit still but she has now gone to bed.
I sure hope she settles in and has a good sleep!
I'm off to cook dinner.
My Poli Sci teacher in college ran for President in 72. During the class he gave us all the inside info on how to run a campaign. One of the points I remember is you ALWAYS make sure that your venue is smaller than the expected crowd so it looks like you are so popular that you packed them in. Well it looks like no matter how BIG the venue is for Bush it ain't BIG ENOUGH.
I like it on chips but definitely not Heinze
