President Bush continued his bus tour of Missouri today with appearances at Lees Summit High School, in Lees Summit, Missouri, a stop at a business in Warrensburg, then on to the Missouri State Fair Coliseum in Sedalia for an Ask the President event, after having appeared before a crowd of 30,000 cheering supporters in Poplar Bluff last evening. The President is scheduled to travel through Missouri by bus for the rest of the day and return to the White House this evening.
Its a GOOD time to be a Bushbot! Enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose!
America would not be well-suited for a Queen, but I really respect Queen Elizabeth II. She's a class act.
I'm outta here, time to settle in for the evening...
Good night, all!
Kitty Kelly book
It is a joke. both Newsweek and CNN's Larry King is not
touching it with a ten foot pole as none of it can be
proved.
Mike...I dread the next 60 days with all the mud these scumbags are going to throw at Dubya...we haven't seen nothing yet..
Good night to you and sweet dreams. I'll catch you tomorrow or is that today - oh heck, i'm so confused! LOL
I have pictures since the Inauguration too, and can't wait to get some from his SECOND Inauguration in January, 2005!
I know that, YOU know that, and everyone HERE knows that. However, I worry about the people who are not discerning enough to ask the tough questions and see the real issues.
She went to school today, but was pretty frustrated with trying to do everything one handed. The pain level is coming down.
I'm sure she'll come out of this with a greater appreciation for the gift of TWO hands. :o)
...but NBC's Today Show plans to interview Kelly...Im sure Couric has the honors.
I may just do that myself, since no one's around to shoot hoops right now. :o)
See my post #187.
Guess I'm just a worrier.
We all know that the Dems cannot be trusted. They will stop at nothing to get Kerry in. Doesn't matter if it's illegal, immoral, or downright evil, they'll try it.
Also, if we don't have an overwhelming win, they're going to try to dispute it--Kerry already has many, many lawyers hired.
If asked about any of these baseless charges, President Bush will simply shake his head and say "This is absurd, and not worthy of a response"
As President Bush said during his acceptance speech,:
"In the last four years, you and I have come to know each other. Even when we don't agree, at least you know what I believe and where I stand."
Those two sentences won president Bush a second term, and these words won the hearts of most Americans:
"These four years have brought moments I could not foresee and will not forget. I've tried to comfort Americans who lost the most on September the 11th -- people who showed me a picture or told me a story, so I would know how much was taken from them. I've learned first-hand that ordering Americans into battle is the hardest decision, even when it is right. I have returned the salute of wounded soldiers, some with a very tough road ahead, who say they were just doing their job. I've held the children of the fallen, who are told their dad or mom is a hero, but would rather just have their mom or dad.
I've met with the wives and husbands who have received a folded flag, and said a final goodbye to a soldier they loved. I am awed that so many have used those meetings to say that I'm in their prayers and to offer encouragement to me. Where does strength like that come from? How can people so burdened with sorrow also feel such pride? It is because they know their loved one was last seen doing good. Because they know that liberty was precious to the one they lost. And in those military families, I have seen the character of a great nation: decent, idealistic, and strong."
The last half of President Bush's Acceptance Speech was the best I have seen from President Bush and this mean old man had a tear in his eye for my President when he spoke of comforting the families of our fallen.
May God Bless President Bush as he leads us for 4 more years
When I was computerless for a week, I started getting the DTs. :o)
Glad you enjoy the Dose!
***Mike...I dread the next 60 days with all the mud these scumbags are going to throw at Dubya...we haven't seen nothing yet..***
That's what I think. They're just going to get more and more desparate the closer the election gets and the more Kerry continues to implode.
Your welcome, I love coming to this thread to post my thoughts, you all are the greatest
Thank you, kayak. CONTINUED prayers for our courageous troops!
our Prime Minister would not attract such enthusiasm. Do you think that is because we have the Queen as head of State so the PM role is therefore different to the President?
PM Blair receives a more enthusiastic reception here in
the US because of his support of our President.
When I saw Queen Elizabeth II in person when she and Prince
Phillip were here in San Diego in '83 for 3 days she received a very enthusiastic reception.
Now for a cuppa.
Funny, you don't LOOK like a mean old man! LOL!!!
But seriously, I know the truth, YOU know the truth, and everyone here knows it. But seems the rest of the world can be soooo fickle, depending on the polls and how the MSM tells them things are going.
I hope and pray people's eyes are open to the evil of the opposition and the good of our President. I am very fearful for my family if he is not re-elected.
God bless our President and his family and keep them safe until the election!
They are sinking FAST!
Looks like your predictions are coming true, eh??
