President Bush continued his bus tour of Missouri today with appearances at Lees Summit High School, in Lees Summit, Missouri, a stop at a business in Warrensburg, then on to the Missouri State Fair Coliseum in Sedalia for an Ask the President event, after having appeared before a crowd of 30,000 cheering supporters in Poplar Bluff last evening. The President is scheduled to travel through Missouri by bus for the rest of the day and return to the White House this evening.
Its a GOOD time to be a Bushbot! Enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose!

**Kerry forgets Edwards is even there....He slammed CHeney for not serving and Edwards (who also didn't serve)was standing within arms length behind him......Well duh! There's a elephant in the room.**
When he is slamming Cheney over Vietnam I suppose he has to conveniently forget Edwards or he would have to come up with one of his silly he thinks clever excuses/remarks to clarify why Edwards not volunteering was different to Cheney.

Young'uns, take note. We are not likely to see this again for a very long time. After Bob Dole in 96 I thought that you could have put a fork in the Republican party-we were done. But with the rise of Bush and the come back of the Republican party I now have hope that there are others out there that will rise to the top to take a leadership role in the future.

Hi Sam. I was at the speech in LS today. Security was tight. Even had black unmarked helicopters flying around.
If I hadn't worked all night and then stood for 2 hours I would have enjoyed the speech a lot more. Homemom, I got my "sympathy" ticket ;-) A lot of his speech I had heard already heard but that's ok. I'd never heard him say these things in person before. Would be impossible to come up with a new speech every event. Some of it was new.
Jeanne Patterson, Jim Talent and Kit Bond were there. Kit is real folksy and got in some good zingers against Kerry. The crowd was really ready for President Bush.
Great reactions when he talked about the war on terror, health insurance and prioritization of Social Security.
Took a few pictures but none closeups of Dubya. Wasn't close enough. Did take a couple of pictures of a poster a lady I met there had. If they come out ok I'll post them in a few days.
This lady has a son named Robbie. He is in the military and has been to Iraq. He's currently in the states. She is so proud of him and I told her we all are. Gave her the info on FR and how he can find this thread.
Robbie, if you found this post, register and let us know. We thank you very much for your service.
There were, of course, a few protesters outside the event and across the highway with their "facists" and "no war" signs. Maybe 15-20 tops.

Take a look at this week's People magazine--there's an interview with the Bush family at the ranch. I was laughing all the way thru it! Nice pictures, too.

My hubby did not believe that water ran out the plug hole the opposite way until we visited Hawaii for a vacation one year. I told you so, I said. So then he liked to run the taps to see the water disappearing the other way. LOL
i planted so many daffodils when we moved into our new home - they are such a happy little flower (if that is possible). Ok question for you - what's pinging?!? Remember you are dealing with a newbie ;-)

Want me to get you a ticket for Friday in Huntington, WV? I'm going down tomorrow and pick up tickets. I don't even know where he is appearing. Don't know if it's outdoor rally or indoor question/answer.
