Kerry revered Ho Chi Minh publicly, too:
From Unfit for Command, page 137: FBI field surveillance reports document a speech that Kerry gave in 1971 in which he praised Ho Chi Minh, the founder of Vietnamese Communism. The occasion was a speech Kerry gave to a group at the YMCA in Philadelphian on June 14, 1971. As reported by the FBI:
On June 29, 1971, [BLACKED OUT SECURITY EDIT] advised that JOHN KERRY of the National Office of the VVAW, spoke at the YMCA, Philadelphia, on June 14, 1971. In this talk he stated that HO CHI MINH is the GEORGE WASHINGTON of Vietnam. Ho studied the United States Constitution and wants to install the same provisions into the Government of Vietnam. KERRY criticized United States activities in Vietnam, saying we are destroying villages, cities, crops, and the people there and these activities must be stopped.

A quick search produces:
Kerry is a Vietnam Veteran and we Vietnam Vets can never really be welcomed home 'back in the world' until one of our own calls the White House home. Its time to give Bush his marching orders- "to the rear- march!"- Back to Crawford,TX. And let 44- JFK- restore America to her Camelothian BEST!

"I was picked up by a truckload of grunt Marines with two company grade officers first lieutenants," he told the Winter Soldier hearing in Detroit. "We were about five miles down the road, where there were some Vietnamese children at the gateway of the village and they gave the old finger gesture at us. It was understandable that they picked this up from GIs there. They stopped the trucks they didn't stop the truck, they slowed down a little bit, and it was just like response, the guys got up, including the lieutenants, and just blew all the kids away. There were about five or six kids blown away, and then the truck just continued down the hill." What barbrastrisand!

"In 1997, Bangert was one of three former VVAW members to pay tribute in Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh on his birthday"Yeah, why would anyone question the fitness of someone with friends like this to be Commander In Chief of the military?

The former Marine who claims to have served with the Marine Observation Squadron with the First Marine Air Wing in 1968 said the atrocities he witnessed began on his first day in country. "I was picked up by a truckload of grunt Marines with two company grade officers first lieutenants," he told the Winter Soldier hearing in Detroit. "We were about five miles down the road, where there were some Vietnamese children at the gateway of the village and they gave the old finger gesture at us. Its sad, that our country has the potential of being taken over by communists and nobody will do a damn thing about it. America will begin a sad decline if Kerry is elected.
To: TheClintons-STILLAnti-American
Seems like all of Kerry's friends are liars or communists..
Some of them are both...

Zell Miller and the Bush campaign may not want to question Kerry's patriotism but I do. He's neither a patriot or a war hero. A war hero doesn't send our men and women to war, vote no on funding their mission and then flip flop his way to seven different positions on the war. John Kerry is once again out to break the will of this country, his real lesson of Viet Nam.
