During the upcoming presidential debates what question (s) should President Bush pose to John Kerry? What question (s) to you predict John Kerry will pose to him?
Nick
"Do you support the shooting of school kids in the back as they run for safety?, Or the beheading of innocent civilians? or any other terrorist activity you claim is exaggerated including the sept 11th attacks?"
"Just what the hell were you thinking when you made that dangerous claim?"
I don't know what questions President Bush should ask - but if I were him I'd set a baseball up on the pedestal in front of him (Bush) and just smile.
Senator SKerry, do you realize that the presidency requires you to work more than 3 days a week?
Is it true that you served in Viet Nam?
Someone should as the Swift Vets that, they would know.
Sen Kerry: I have released my medical and military records in the interest of full disclosure. Perhaps you can enlighten us as to why you feel Americans should not expect full disclosure from you.Doing so would help you put to rest questions about your time in Vietnam as well as give Americans the knowledge they need about your health.
Good question.
Why won't your wife release her tax returns? Without that happening, how can we know what tax LOOPHOLES she/you have used to reduce your tax burden?
W MUST have a GREAT answer when Kerry asks "Why did you invade Iraq?"
And then he should ask "John, why were you for it, and against it, and for it?"
Here's a question about Bush.
What should Bush say if SKerry brings up his NG service? I know that others will think of this including Bush himself. But what do you think he should say?
Bush to Kerrry:
"Is there anything else about your record in the Senate that you would like to go back and change?"
I think Bush will put Kerry in a lock box over Iraq. If he agrees with the president's stand, he acknowledges Bush is right; if he disagrees or mentions failures, he will be forced to say what he will do(which he has no plan other than the Kiss France's A*s Doctrine), and if he provides a wishy washy answer than he reinforces the flip flop image even more and will sound like a blubbering moron. Bush will have a field day with that one!
"Have you considered going to a poodle salon to get your nails trimmed?"
If you've ever asked a Democratic politician, even at the local level, a question, you know that it doesn't matter what you ask him/her, you will get a canned piece of rhetoric that has nothing to do with your question.
Democratic politicians are trained in "talking points." They do not carry on dialogue. They do monologues, disguised as "conversations."
It really doesn't matter what GWB asks John Kerry. He will get what John Kerry was programmed to say, and nothing more.
Why do you prefer killing AMERICAN children, rather than the Terrorists - why will you let Iran get the Bomb - Like Clinton + Carter let North Korea get the Bomb??
I agree.
Good metaphor...Bush has put Kerry in Algore's LockBox.
and Welcome to Free Republic
I do not understand this thread.
I have not seen a debate where one of the participants got to ask the questions..
John Kerry should be asked if he is in favor of proceeding with installation of the missle defense system?
And...Would you allow U.S. troops to serve under UN command as you once said you would.
