re: JfK in Vietnam?? I don't think so but this is what I heard and may or may-not be true; the original JFKennedy assumed responsibility for Vietnam after the French surrender, so possibly the new JfKerry is connected to Vietnam by way of his French/Swiss/Irish/Jewish/African relatives or connections. Still not sure if he ever set foot in Vietnam but I heard he saw a movie about SE-Asia and was really, really interested in Cambodia. JfK was excited and was mumbling something about a Bamboo Bong Import/Export business shipped via small boats. JfK, who I believe won the America's Cup as skipper, realized this area is easily traversed by using the many small rivers. I think there are some books on this. John was always known for his ability to find the Gold in any situation. I understand he was considered the New Keynes and spent time in France, El Salvador, Cuba, China and Pittsburgh to assist these countries with the implementation of his great Gold-digging Theory of Economics. I also think, or possibly I read he was honored at the great Business Schools & may have a number of Honorary PhD's and numerous technical publications. Then again maybe JfK visited Vietnam while he was involved in investing in some major harbor projects and was trying to get that Bong business back on track! I do know JfK was in China recently, that would be another possibility he had visited Vietnam. I am hoping to verify this history through Terry McAuliffe, Jfk's official biographer and CEO, Gold-fome, Inc.
