(INDIANAPOLIS) -- This is an urgent call to action for all Midwest Area FReepers.
On Saturday, September 11th (from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM) we will be conducting a rally in support of our troops, their families, the war on terrorism (and specifically Operation Iraqi Freedom).
We vow to NEVER FORGET the terrorist attacks on the United States and we must not allow the "Blame America First" anti-military radicals to go unchallenged in their anti-Bush propaganda.
We have been notified by authorities that a massive ANTI-WAR contingent will be conducting a protest at the opposite end of our rally location. The two sides will be watched by the news media... and we cannot allow our brave troops serving in harms way to see us outnumbered.
WHEN: Saturday, September 11th - 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM

So, the authorities took it upon themselves to kindly notify you of the anti-war protesters who would there,eh? Mighty nice of them.
Yep! The law enforcement officials here in Indiana are by and large supportive of the fight for freedom and think the anti-war crowd are a bunch of disgusting traitors!

What's wrong with the authorities telling conservatives about liberal rallies? It's not like they prohibited the lefties from convening. They just mentioned it to the pro-America folks. Sounds good to me!!

I miss you guys too, but I sure don't miss the Left Coast. We actually have good, patriotic Americans here in Indiana. Bet our rally is BIGGER than yours!!

Do you expect a big turnout? I just started organizing this last week so I'm hoping we can get the word out fast...any suggestions?
I'm going to call talk radio, post a lot of flyers at the Hospital, call Vet places like American Legion.
Make an email, and have as many people send it out as possible!

I'm going to be visiting Indianapolis that day, down from Calgary to attend the CEDIA expo. I'm doing it on a client's dollar and kind of at their beck and call (I've a bunch of interviews scheduled on their behalf) so don't know what my schedule will be but if there's something happening in the evening I can probably make it - and would love to.
Don't know the city, but I imagine I can find my way around.
Could you keep me in the loop, please, so I can show my support if possible?
