Bill Clinton rushed to Columbia Hostpital in NY for quadruple bypass surgery.
There is a huge difference between elective by-pass and emergency by-pass. They say that Bill Clinton suffered a heart attack, has a blockage and will undergo quadruple by-pass. That is huge and very, very serious. Of course since this is the first incidence of heart problems, it may not be as serious as it sounds, but if it was my husband, I would be very concerned.
Guess the Republican convention really got to him! ;-) Politics aside, I wish Bill Clinton all of the best during this difficult time.
I agree. Age 58 is too young to go. By the way, why isn't Hillary with him in the hospital? That is downright weird, that she's on a tour in upstate NY.
I'm sure we all know what HIS internal poll numbers are showing regarding this years race.

Alot of times surgeons don't know what exactly they will do until they get in. My brother was scheduled for a quadBP, but instead had a singleBP and a stint after the surgeon got a closer look.
Besides, making mean jokes is what those DUmbasses do.

I don't wish Clinton the worst and I do pray that he will come to know Jesus in a relationship way, and if his health problems are the way, then so be it.
However, a man or woman, earns my respect. I don't care if that man is my checkout guy or president of the USA... respect is earned.
Clinton is a disrespectful person, not only as a politician, but as a human being. I will pray that his surgery goes well only in light of giving him time to turn his life around so he can do as much for the Lord as he has done for satan.

Surgery in NY Hospital

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Former President Bill Clinton (news - web sites) has checked into a New York hospital and will undergo heart bypass surgery, U.S. networks reported on Friday.
ABC and CBS television reported that Clinton, 58, had checked into New York Presbyterian Hospital for quadruple heart bypass surgery.
A DemocRATic Party official told Reuters that Clinton had checked into the hospital with "chest pains." The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, could not confirm that Clinton would undergo bypass surgery.
CNN quoted a source close to the former president as saying the surgery could take place as early as Saturday.
Clinton, the 42nd U.S. president, promised at the Democratic convention in July to be a "foot soldier" in John Kerry (news - web sites)'s race against Republican President Bush (news - web sites).
