The problem is that dollars made in free societies by "moderate" muslins pays the terroris to deatroy freedom.
It is not hard to make the case that all muslims share the guilt.

When the Romans were unable to reach an accomodation with an enemy, and had found the enemy so intractable as to be incapable of keeping a peace agreement, they would, after conquering, kill every living thing in the enemy's territory: men, women, children, dogs, horses - everything.
The Romans did not do this out of savagery, but because they had determined over the course of hundreds of years that this such measures were the only effective means of causing barbarians to fear Rome enough that they would stop committing depradations on the fringes of the Empire.

I think reason amidst all of this is . . . tricky.
I do believe that we need to make it cost the Jihadi's and their supporters A LOT MORE than 1:1.
How is a huge challenge.
I hate war at all. I even have a hard time killing a chicken for food. I certainly hate killing innocent people.
HOWEVER, while God hates violence of all kinds, His wrath is building to wipe all evil people off the planet.
And, in eras past, He Himself as well as directed Israel to wipe out entire people groups. Done. No more. Their evil was too great. He even directed their animals be killed and no booty taken.
I have to conclude in such cases that werein there are 'innocent' children [a concept I agree with though all are to some degree in rebellion against God in their hearts/spirits]--I have to conclude in such cases as wholesale destruction on a people group--that God's Love somehow is STILL IN THE MIDST OF THAT HORROR eternally fair and Loving to the innocents involved.
I don't know how. I don't know if He gives them an option at the point of death of accepting or rejecting a relationship with Him or what. But I know that His Mercy triumps over justice. And I know His Love is part and parcel of His Mercy.
AND, AT TIMES, IT IS NECESSARY TO WIPE OUT FAIRLY LARGE CLUSTERS OF PEOPLE TO RID THE LAND OF INSIDEOUS, WHOLESALE, INTRACTABLE EVIL. And the Jihadi's certainly qualify on those scores.
Therefore what, I don't know. Targeting only the Jihadi's is a challenging task.
Part of me is in favor of nuking Mecca. But the understandable odds are, it would just further inflame, radicalize and drive over the mental edge millions more uneducated, irrational and a lot of other Moslems.
God will deal with Islam--ultimately. He will wipe it off the planet. Whether He will use man or do it Supernaturally Himself remains to be seen. Thankfully, masses of them will be converted first.
We STILL have a responsibility as a responsible 'Christian,' freedom loving government of the people . . . to resist and slap down evil wholesale. It is right to do for all concerned--and certainly for our survival.
At some point, platitudinous passivism just won't cut it. Spitballs will not stop a Jihadi from beheading innocents. The Jihadi's and all who support them must be eradicated FIRST.
Actually, not much oil in Chechnya. Most is all gone and most was never on real Chechyn land but on northern "Chechyn" plain (ever drill oil from mountain side?) which till 1920 was lands of the (now thanks to Stalin & Chechins) extinct Tarek Cossaks (Tarek river runs in Grozny).
